If I only had to choose one between the two (or really between anything), I would choose the PC. Far more flexible, a larger and better library of games, better graphics and performance and etc. The only downside of the PC I can see (other than the current shortage of GPU's), is its support for HDR and Surround Sound. It's support for HDR is finnicky at best, has some issues and also constantly having to turn it on and off (my PC is also connected to my TV for couch gaming). More importantly, the support for surround sound is sometimes finnicky too (have not tested this extensively yet, but at least with ME Legendary, no surround, but works on others so maybe its game related).

Both are good systems though, hence why I have both (actually, have two XSX, second one was almost free since I sold my old Xbox One X for over $400).

The remake's graphics/art style looks awful/generic as hell. Not a fan of the direction they took. That being said, certainly a game I will pick up for the nostalgia, the AW games were excellent back in the day. Just not at full price, sorry but for something with those low production values, $60 is just too much of an ask (more of a principle thing).

Oh it is well worth it. Cows are just being dumb fanboys. Furthermore, it is not really anywhere close to $200, it is $120, since most Xbox users will want Xbox Live as well.

At a price of $120, it is an amazing deal, you get a ton of quality games as part of the subscription, get MS games Day 1, and also have an EA Play subscription. Furthermore if you are a PC and Xbox gamer, you also get it on the PC so you have games there. It is a no brainer in my view (be it full price or the promotional $1 deal).

I am really hoping that the cheating problem is dealt with more effectively with this new BF game. The OP is correct the cheating in BF1 and BFV is rampant, and EA does absolutely nothing about it, its awful. Noobs just auto aiming and one shotting (they really need to get a life) which ruins the experience for everyone else on the server. Been mostly playing (competitive MP side) MW and BF1/BFV in past year, and in CoD this is not an issue (no hackers), but oh god are they rampant on BF.

I will still buy/play on PC as it is the superior experience (minus the hackers). Due to the KB/M the game just feels different on PC (way more faster paced and more crazy things happening). On console due to controller, its just a very slow feeling experience imo. Still fun but not the type of BF I am used to.

@killerpainrulez: Developing games is not free, it takes a lot of manpower and resources to make it. Why would they release it only on a PS5 that has a) negligible install base; b)shortages ensuring that the install base can not currently grow effectively (unlike before when consoles are easy to get, exclusives would drive consoles sales, that simply can not happen in todays climate due to the shortages).

At the end of the day, these are companies and they need to make money, or at a minimum recoup their investments in whatever game they make. Childish view to think they should just make things (or do things) just to keep some fanboys happy lmao

I am a little indifferent when it comes to this. I rarely, if ever, buy games on launch for full price so the price increase to $70 would have negligeable effect on me.

From a pure economic perspective though, raising game prices to 70 makes sense as that price does (to an extent) reflect inflation. The $70 they charge now is the equivalent to the $60 they charged back a decade or so ago. Hell if they charged higher prices but had fewer bs micro transaction (unlikely) I'd support the move wholeheartedly (then again I don't buy micro transactions, not dumb enough to fork over $$ for some in game skin or item).

How this an issue in any way given the current market. The more platforms, or in this case both previous and next Gen platforms, is a good thing, as more people can enjoy the games.

Developers have been doing this for years where they scale a game across many potential systems. This is a similar case. It's even easier than scaling on PC since they know the exact strength of each system. I do agree that last Gen consoles have awful Cpus, but developers have gotten around that issue kind of.

Lastly, the next Gen consoles are still difficult for most people to get, the supply is really low and it has gotten even worse from what I have noticed in path month. The install base is simply not there to make it worthwhile to make a game exclusive to a next Gen system, especially since thag exclusivity can not drive sales (due to shortage).

Not at all tbh. I have the switch but from all the system I have, it is the one that literally gets the least use. Only time I ever use it frankly is when friends are over and we play SSB, otherwise it just sits there. Frankly the PC, XBOX and PS have far more and (imo) superior games.

The Series X has not been on sale at Amazon for 1.5 months or so, while the PS5 recently dropped (last week), so using this as some kind of "pwnage" is just sad and useless. Not accurate at all.

@Pedro: Yeah that is probably why they did that or it was the easiest way (ie identifying those in need would have been tough).
