Diablo 3, though it will probably come out in 2012 I bet..Blizzard doesn't release games until they are perfect. There will probably at least be a beta though in 2011.

No other non-subsscription based game will give you as many hours of amazingness as Diablo 3 will..if it's as great as D2 was, that is. Hell, I'd still be playing Diablo 2 if it wasn't for the cheats/dupes.

I had trouble finding a good game on my friends 360 on Bad Company 2, he said Black Ops pretty much killed the online community.

Do the older online games just die out after the new CoD/Halo release every year?

[QUOTE="ianuilliam"]Can you back that up? 80% sounds a little high. According to the ESA, the average age of gamers is 34.

foxhound_fox

I can prove him wrong. http://www.theesa.com/facts/index.asp

"The average game player is 34 years old and has been playing games for 12 years."

That's including stupid little computer games like Solitare and stuff lol..do you really believe that 40% of people on xbox live are women?

Probably World of Warcraft...I think most people immediately think you're a huge nerd if you've played it :D

But there is the bandwidth cost to download them, sorry, steam is a lie.

SilverChimera

Where do you live that you have to pay to use bandwidth? This is not the case in the US..not yet at least.

He lives in a land where sarcasm exists.

I thought he was being sarcastic because of the $1,000 monitor comment (I got a 24" Asus 1080p HD monitor for $170) but some countries do actually have to pay for bandwidth usage and that could be a problem for steam.

I've loved the Pokemon games as a kid and to this day, especially Pokemon Gold and Sapphire.

cronomagus36

Good call on Pokemon..I would play Red/Blue/Yellow non-stop as a kid, but haven't played any since. I wouldn't mind playing some of the new ones, but there are just too many new pokemon

[QUOTE="blue_hazy_basic"]95% of new releases are cheaper too (ie except activsion games), no XBL, free mods vs paid DLC, steam sales, etc etc PC's are a great investment if you're a serious gamer that will buy alot of games.haberman13

Final Fantasy XIV might be the worst game I've EVER played.

You probably save money in the long run when you consider how cheap you can get games for the PC, especially on digital download sales. Also, you don't have to upgrade your PC much anymore..developers aren't making very demanding games anymore..probably because most games are going on consoles as well. Most still use old game engines, I haven't upgraded anything in 3 years and run every game fine.

Ive put 91 hours into reach's multiplayer so far and havent bought the map pack for that, I have put less then 10 into Cod so I give 0 care about this map pack.

Also loking at it mathematically it is no more expensive per map then any other pack out there on consoles.

dragonfly110

Can't believe console gamers have been paying this much for map packs this whole time, jeez I can get a whole game off Steam for that price. Bad Company 2 was recently $6.79 on steam!
