Well, I've actually been back to school for a week and 2 days now, but oh well  Most of this blog is about school, so why not include it in the title?
I wish I could say that I missed this site, but truth be told, I don't  :( My stress levels are lower, I'm a little happier, and the computer has been running a lot better  Hmm... But, I felt I should come back and give a slight update on how things are going lately. I feel bad because I left on a sad note, and I don't like doing that :(
So, school started for me last Thursday on August 20th. I usually get this "back to school" anxiety, but I didn't get it this year :) Probably because I was so depressed and angry back then, but oh well. I didn't get it this year, so my first day of school was actually pretty good :D It was great to see all of my friends again :D And get this: my shyness seems to have disappeared!!!!!!!!!!!!   I still have it, but it's nowhere near as bad as it usually is :D I talked to everyone, and made lots of new friends :D Most of the people I talked to seemed a little freaked out at first because I had never talked to them before  It was hilarious
We have a new principal this year :D He looks like a big goof, but he's actually a hard-a$$ The school is so obedient and willing now  I've never seen it so peaceful....it's nice to be able to walk down the halls without the fear of getting stabbed, pushed, or shot :)
I have to ride the bus this year  I was upset about it at first because I thought I'd be the only senior, but I'm not :D A lot of kids can't afford their cars anymore, so they have to ride the bus. I got picked on the first few days because some freshman (yes, freshman) thought I was in middle school   I'M A SENIOR!!!!! I had to show them my school ID to prove it  But the good thing about being a senior is I get to pick my seat, and I don't have to share it! Hah!!! :P And since I'm the last one on the bus every morning, my new sophomore friend, Taneisha, told me she'd guard my seat. And she did! She forced one boy out of my seat with the threat of breaking his...well...you know  He shot up and found another seat quickly
Back to my shyness: one bad thing about not being shy: I actually have boys fighting over me  I never saw that coming! Two of them threatened to beat up the other one, so I had to threaten them both to get them to cut it out  And then another one won't leave me alone, and he keeps doing things to make it look like we're going out  He felt up my leg one time (and I kicked him XD), and another time he kissed me  That was a mess :( And then to make things worse: Robert still likes me  He was the friend I kept talking about in my earlier blogs. The one who ignored me because I didn't like him back. Well, he likes me again
Another thing that really irritated me, was a few days ago when I got off the bus. The bus drops me off at my driveway because I live on a busy street. Well, the bus stopp[ed the traffic behind us to let me off, and when I got off, some guy in one of those cars was calling to me and whistling at me  :( *face palm* Mom came out of the house and told me to quickly get inside because he was checking out my...yeah  :( And the kids on the bus heard it all because the windows were open  So embarrassing....they won't let it go either
I'm back to my nerdy self  I have a 113% in government right now   And in environmental science, I'm one of the best students :D :P I seem to be the only one in my group who knows how to do any of the hiking and ecology labs  And, my lab report was the best in the class :D The teacher said my details were amazing, and my methods were definitely the most effective :D This is great news because I want to be an environmentalist :D :D :D
My future career brings me to colleges :D I've been receiving many priority applications from a variety of colleges :D That means, if I fill it out and send it in, I could get an acceptance letter in 2 weeks  Wow! But, I have my sights set on Purdue right now :D
Another random fact: My great-grandfather died last Friday. I wasn't really that close to him, but it was still a shock :( He was 89 years old...my family couldn't go to the funeral on Monday because my dad had an important meeting at work about the fate of his job, and he couldn't get the time off :( So, my family is shunning us right now :( Oh well... Hopefully they'll understand later...:(
So, this was my first full week back to school, and I'm still alive! :D :D :D I think that requires a celebration :D  Hmm...what to do, what to do
So (again), did I miss anything important?
