Get this: for 2 1/2 hours of my school day, I go to an elementary school to intern my favorite 3rd and 4th grade teacher :D I've really bonded with the kids lately and they've all become good friends of mine :D I teach them some lessons, and help them if they're struggling. I even stay after on some days so I can play with them at recess :lol: As one student puts it, I "make learning fun" :lol: :oops:
Well, I went to my internship the other day, and found a small copper ring with a plastic blue gem in the center. I asked the kids nearby whose it was, and they started giggling and saying it was for me. I asked who gave it to me, and they laughed some more and told me they were sworn to secrecy :roll:
Later today, April (one of the students) came up to me and asked me if I figured out who gave me the ring. She was laughing :roll: I tried to make her tell me who gave it to me, but she only gave me a hint: she told me it was one of the boys who tell me I smell nice everyday :lol: That narrows it down to 4 :roll: :lol:
It's cute, but sort of unsettling :lol:
This time, it's not because of the ice or snow. Now, it's because of the -35 F degree windchills!!!! :shock::cry::cry: We were closed at like 7:30 last night :lol: Every school around here is closed too :D That's awesome :lol: Believe it or not, I've actually got ice formed on my windows :shock: It looks like it snowed inside :lol: Is anyone having negative degree windchills? I hear it's all over the US...

As some of you may know, my family isn't doing too well financially :cry: My parents had to buy this freaking house last year when they knew darn well they wouldn't be able to pay the house payment :cry: :evil: :cry: Today, my dad found out that everyone at the factory is going from 5-day work days to 4-day work days :shock: :cry: We'll be out almost $480 a month :shock: :cry:
On top of that, the bank is reviewing our paperwork, so there's a 90% chance the house payment could go up again :evil: :evil: :cry: :cry: It's already $1,100 a month!!!!! No house is worth that!!!! :evil: :cry:
To help pay this freaking payment, my parents are thinking about getting rid of internet, phone, and cable :cry: :cry: :cry: I hope not :cry: I would miss you all terribly :cry: :cry: :cry:
