Button mashing to sprint is also a bad game design decision. Not sure what devs are thinking to implent it

@trollhunter2: apparently my brain capacity allows that " accessibility>realism" to thirve more efficiently than your brain does. Becuase walking in gta4 satisfingly good and ironicly i love the driving cuase of it accessibility not its realism. Driving in the game is a brezze. Maybe not so much in 4 but its not nearly bad enough feel like driving in one of the best city sandbox games ever
walkling in the game is far from good. Walking in the game feels like work, than actual fun. The driving control feeling like you're driving on water or something. Sorry but a game just isnt good, when simple turning around feels like a chore
@Livecommander: realism is not suitable for actual videogames, it just breaks or makes the game worse. Kinda like how ND decided to let Ellie appear invisible for enemies during stealth sections. Nico tripping was very annoying, he controlled like I was drunk or something. Accessibility >>> realism first and foremost. The realism excuse was always weird to me, cause the car handles more like a boat, or like the car is floating on water sometimes.
The game was basically more than 70% driving, drive to this place, kill this guy, car chase scene etc. rinse and repeat. Lack of variety whatsoever. Rockstar had balls, basing most of the game on the boat.... ooops I mean car controls
Just what the frick?
Bad on foot controls, even worse driving controls, input lag in shooting, run of the mill combat controls, phone calls during the most inconvenient moments possible(shoot outs), barren worlds, lackluster A.I, literally "delivery guy" the game, since it mostly relied on fetch quests. I would have enjoyed it better, if the driving controls were great, but those controls are horse shit. I remember people defending the controls by saying "well duh, its realistic control scheme" how? Thats not how my car handles. This to this day is still my biggest unsolved mystery, its like the Critics were smoking some good stuff at the time while playing it. sigh.
I havent touched GTA V at all -_-
ori and the blind forest
the last guardian(seriously the last guardian)
uncharted 4
SSBB WiiU
mario 3d world
Tearaway
Splatoon
zelda albw
bloodborne
luigis mansion 2
Rare Replay
etc
pretty content gen for me
Gameplay>movie. Rockstar.
Implying Rockstar(red dead redemption big exception) has actual good gameplay. Not with that shitty imput lag during actual shooting or horse shit driving controls
The only rockstar series I like is Red Dead Redemption(I havent touched GTA V, since GTA IV was one of the worst and most overrated games I've ever played), so ND is an easy pick for me. Real answer is Nintendo EAD. Zelda, Mario, and Metroid are gaming for me
Journey(to be fair only played the demo, not the full game. Demo expression didnt feel like a 10/10 game for me)
Infamous Series
Killzone Series(not that its bad, its a crime when it overshadows the better FPS Sony series, Resistance)
if we count third party, then nothing tops the abomination that is GTA IV. The sight of it having a 98 on metacritic, give my eyes cancer :/
