[QUOTE="twitchmonkey399"]Um, I don't think anyone cracks their bones. We bend our fingers & other joints into weird positions causing a capsule inside our joint to rapidly collapse, creating a vacuum of sorts which in turn forms a bubble from a synovial fluid which then bursts, making a cracking sound. Sounds bad. Would cheezcak help?

I think you already know the answer to that.

[QUOTE="nooblet69"][QUOTE="twitchmonkey399"]A good way to stay motivated, as another user said, is to choose an exercise that you like. It also helps if you get into long-term relationships and activities that require being in good shape (other than exercise itself). This way you have more reasons to stay in shape, making you less likely to falter. A little willpower wouldn't hurt, either.

Thanks, yeah it just gets hard I always hit the gym for like a week or two then stop going for another week or two because I get lazy. Very bad habit.

Here's an extra hint: Once you get into shape, get to the beach and get two girls on either side of you and have someone take a picture. Take that picture, copy it, and put it on your fridge, on your pantry door, and by your computer. Now let's see you falter. Heck, the picture wouldn't even have to be of yourself. You could have a friend, or even an in-shape celebrity to look at for motivation. A fictional character could work, too. With willpower, for instance. If Batman is your kind of, oh what am I saying? Everyone loves and many aspire to be Batman! Could you imagine Batman with his iron will succumbing to a batch of chocolate chip cookies? Of course not. Be like Batman. Be strong. Seriously. It helps, crazy as it sounds.

You're not the only one, good sir

I for one would like to see Mr. President show is gracious stature and fly over there to shake hands with the guy. Maybe even give him a hug, and tell him how he respects his opinions and his way of life.

[QUOTE="PernicioEnigma"] [QUOTE="Snipes_2"]

You want to see it so you can see Jesus getting whipped and Crucified? :?

NiteLights

Yes, do you have a problem with that?

No, but I consider therapy. Anybody who wants to see some whipped and tortured is sick minded.

...or just provoking people.

[QUOTE="twitchmonkey399"][QUOTE="lazerface216"]

i disagree, it would not have grossed half of what it made without all the torture porn. you think people would have gone to see it without the gore just because they're christians? if that were true, disney's prince of egypt would have been a huge success, but it wasn't.

i have seen the film btw, as far as a pure movie experience it was absolutely terrible.

lazerface216

The Prince of Egypt is a terrible example. It was a cartoon based on the old testament. The passion was live action, featuring the most prominent figure in human history preforming one of the most important actions of his life directed by the most famous (now shifting more towards infamous) Catholic man in Hollywood. They're nowhere near the same.

it's a ****ing disney movie for christ's sake. why does it matter if it's cartoon based? there have been other movies about the crucifixion, how great did they do?

Being cartoon based certainly has a somewhat negative effect. What do you think adults and teenagers are going to watch more? A cartoon or live action rendition of the same film?

Also, Mel Gibson being the director and it being the first big-budget crucifixion movie in a long time helped, too.

Also, the blood and gore helped as well for a lot of people, but not all people, as I said before. I see you didn't respond to my most recent comment that was directed at you. I'll save you the trouble and ask you again right here in this post: when did I say the blood and gore wasn't a part of box office success?

Why is alcohol bad? It's actually good for you, in moderation. They even do it in the Bible.

[QUOTE="Snipes_2"]

[QUOTE="Andrew_Xavier"] It was certainly torture porn, a guy is tortured throughout the entire film. The main focus of the film is a guy getting tortured to death is a far more brutal fashion than saw or house of 1000 corpses, and it didn't even have a plot/storyline like saw did. Passion is more closely related to Hostel and the like.Andrew_Xavier

The whole movie is not Jesus Getting Tortured. There's one Scene where he's whipped, that's the only torture scene and it lasts less than 10 minutes of the movie.

I've seen the movie.

Then how can you say he was tortured the whole time?

[QUOTE="twitchmonkey399"][QUOTE="lazerface216"]

everyone i know saw it for the blood and gore. do you honestly believe it would have as hyped or been as big of a box office success as it was without all the gore? puh-lease :roll:.that's all people talked about was how gruesome it was.

lazerface216

No one contested what made it a box office success, only that you were telling everyone what they saw the movie for, as if you could read their minds. But you can't. Yet you try and claim everyone saw it only for the blood and gore. Well, your wrong. Hopeless and his family saw it for the crucifixion, as did I and many of the religious families I know.

lol @ you getting all upset about it.

the blood and gore in that movie was a HUGE reason why it was the success it was.

When did I say it wasn't? If you read my comments carefully, you'll see that I'm telling you that there are plenty of people who saw it for religious reasons.
