That is absurd. I TOOK that survey, lol. I can't belive the majority of people weren't informed enough to know that the Wii-U was gonna be bacwards compatible. Very sad to be mixed in that poll, but then again, the small percentages may have been zero, otherwise (IF they counted mine). was over a month ago, at minimum (?).
@Big_Pecks My thoughts, exactly, lol. I don't have a gaming pc, but it seems you don't need one for that game. Anyone know if it's in a Steam (or any) sale?
Where is Justin's list? What about Magrino (as Brendan is in news, too), Giancarlo? Are these just people that wanted to participate? Great job, I just wish everyone did it!
When I played Zelda 1, 2 & Lttp, there were no FAQS, etc. I've played every game I've ever beaten (especially Zelda) without "cheating" (Dark Souls & Skyrim, I looked up stuff to learn how to play, but haven't finished either). Back then, all there was is Nintendo Power & I was poor, so it was hard enough getting the games. I do remember having one with a map of Hyrule for Zelda 1, but it was after I had finished it. Not a better franchise exists, imho.
@grim0187 I reply to everything in my INBOX (which means people had to mention me before I ever came here. I will continue TO DEFEND MY RIGHT TO MY VIEWS no matter where, IF someone mentions me by name). If you don't want me to comment, don't mention me. Surely that can't be hard. EDIT:To put that into perspective for you, there would be ONE post by me if I had not been mention BY NAME 10 times. EDIT2: caps for emphasis, as reading is fundamental ;).
@FLEEBS That is exactly the point I was trying to get across, but so many kiddies want GS brownie points, that it's impossible to voice an opinion without getting voted down (even though the editors hide behind "opinions" all day long, and every time they are questioned). I just feel it was very lacking. To us that love Zelda, 25 years is quite a feat & is much more deserving than a few write ups. Obviously the higher ups @ GS don't feel it's important enough to go the extra mile for, but hey, that's what other sites are for, I guess.
@grim0187 Maybe you should learn to read? Not trying to be rude, but if you read my comments, you'd have known that I did read this. Again, it's great you prefer reading, but not everyone does. That is why I suggested there be writing & a 25th anniversary video tribute.
@Giancarlo Also, it has ZERO to do with how I feel about writing (which I like in some cases, but I read enough at school). It has to do with the effort GS puts into Zelda. You all could have written (since you're so passionate about it), AND made a great 10 minute video feature to commemorate this occasion, but you chose to do less than that. If you hadn't more for other games, some could call you lazy. Since you have, most will call you lazy. Again, GS' history on Zelda speaks for itself. Thanks for the "effort".
