I stopped playing Splatoon on August, but my 9 year old just won't stop playing the game. She keeps destroying squids, with 10 more kills than she is killed mostly. But she's always stuck playing with noobs in ranked matches getting her stuck with a B+ rank for quite a while now.

Edit; Wow, that was some broken English... Fixed.

It has all the elements that it needs from RPG, over-killing and overusing RPG elements will make it worse. The devs knew what they were doing, and they did well in that aspect.

@jg4xchamp: It's really poor level design in my opinion, and they usually have seemingly infinitely spawning enemies at some areas. It's just lazy design.

@jg4xchamp: It's not cover mechanic. What you mean is that some of those games actively encourage you to use those covers, and in some instances in the game entire segments revolve around crouching behind cover. Whether there is a cover mechanic or not, in both cases you'll still be crouching behind an oddly placed object blatantly placed there for just that.

Looks like a heavily scripted, linear "stealth" shooting game. No thanks!
