First of all I'd much rather play Mario than Grays of War, second these are release games, third it has already been confirmed the Wii U is diffidently more powerful than the PS360, and finally you wont be able to tell a friggin difference unless you have a massive TV and even then Mario and Pikmin are cartoonish so it will be even harder to tell. Plus both games look very crisp and have no jaggies.

the average non-gamer is not going to upgrade to the Wii U from the Wii so for better graphics on Wii Fit....will they get fitter? That title sold well because it was a fresh idea and the Wii was a trendy novelty at the time. The Wii U is not going to sell like the original Wii since it won't be the latest fad (motion control)

Anyone hardcore or casual will upgrade for games plain and simple. As long as there is a new and improved experience to be had with fresh content and innovative ideas they will at the very least be enticed. It's not like Nintendo rehashed Wii Fit for the U entirely, if anything Graphics is the least of the changes I saw from the demo. The new online community should add more depth to all of Nintendo's franchises as well.

As long as there is a demand for the "next generation" of consoles... not going to happen. I can see them becoming more versatile in terms of complete entertainment systems, but not extinct.

Stop thinking and do it... before it becomes a delayed release and people stop caring.

Looks good. Sim City 2000 was my favorite game for a while.

Wasn't bad, wasn't mind blowing... Overall I was happy with what I saw in terms of games and functional possibilities of the system. Was anyone really expecting a new Zelda or 3D Mario? I might of been expecting one more heavy hitter first party title (Metroid, Mario Kart), but I think it was blatantly obvious that Pikmin 3, NSMB-U, and third party offerings would be the main "core" titles even before the conference started.

Nintendo showed BOTH core and casual games about equally. In my opinion I guess they had good balance and told me a lot of what I wanted to know about upcoming games. Only reason Nintendo Land was their big hit at the end is because it's basically the demo game for the console; it seems like a cool concept but the art direction was cheesy as hell and made me wanna puke with the excessive use of bows and rainbows... there was even a rainbow with a bow tied in it.
