Waits for the announcement of a Diva sim where you can date and flirt with the system and then inevitable announcement of some sad and lonely Japanese man who married their XB1.

But on the upside, it would sell systems in JPN. ;-P

@sinner81 And what's your point? I have a PS3 fat and slim, and it's nice to have one system to play everything, I also have my PS2 and PS1, but they aren't connected.

It's audacious and ignorant to think that no one is interested in playing older titles, there were many Xbox 1 games I never played or did play and wanted again that I got when I bought my 360, did I want to go out and get a OG Xbox if the 360 couldn't play them? Hell no.

So why should I think that MS is being smart in this decision and why should I also agree with what you're saying just because I should warehouse all of my systems I've had since I grew up, that's just stupid. (I didn't keep my NES, Genesis, 2600, or Neo Geo) so with new tech, that should be able to play these games, why should I have to keep old tech to play those games?

Let's say a 360 title is released in Nov. of 2013, so Xbox One can't play it even though it was released the same month and year, just how ridiculous is that? And considering OG Xbox games were done on emulator, that again is no excuse why Xbox One can't do any BC, nothing but ridiculous excuses....

@ewjiml GOG.com says Hi.

And yes, I won't use Steam either, DRM in any form sucks.

@ernelson1976I agree with you, if you look back at any of the news from Ubisoft about next gen for the last year or two only Guillemot has been the one touting how us gamers gotta have next gen now. It's not any more true then than it is now. Some people want newer tech, for better gfx mostly, but sadly new experiences will be few and far between for those people and I challenge anyone to prove me wrong about that. I'm not eager or willing to buy day 1 for any of the systems like I did with the PS3 in 2006, mainly since my system died in 5 years, I'll wait until the revised tech comes out, and if I have a need for the games I'll buy them and get the system when I feel like it.

Ubisoft and Guillemot's only goal is to sell units, as he says in this other article here on Gamepot ""We will be able to release our franchises more and more regularly, providing solid visibility on our future revenue and profitability streams." And this from another Ubi employee "According to Ubisoft Montreal boss Yannis Mallat, gamers want a new Assassin's Creed game every year." Like hell we do, most people just wanted to see the original story through and now are done with the series, and if they think differently they have another thing coming when sales start sinking faster than the pirate ships in Black Flag. And from that article AC5 is already in production too, I mean wth...

They are frankly hurting themselves with yearly iterations of Assassins Creed and will continue to do that if their business model is that without growing new IP to keep people excited. As soon as I get AC3, I'm done with the series, frankly it was 3 games too many. While I'm very interested in Watchdogs, I'm also concerned if they plan on whoring out the IP until people despise it, see Call of Duty and Activision for proof.

I'll be watching to see what's coming out for the new systems in the next 12 months, but honestly, the new systems they can keep'em until they come down to $250-300 range, otherwise I won't be buying and I'm sure many others like you and your friends will be in similar situations and will be like minded as well.

@carolynmichelle @mr_azim "SPOILERS!"

For goodness sake, the game is 25 years old this year, there has got to be a statue of limitations on when you can discuss a game, I argued RE2 being as old as it was a few years ago when someone got wrankled over spoilers.

I understand there are people who've never played a game before but seriously, when can you talk about something without someone who hasn't played it before coming in and being spoiled 50 years? I mean seriously there's got to be a time when enough is enough ya know. Everybody knows Rosebud from Citizen Kane, and I don't think that spoiled the movie for me at all considering I saw it over 50 years after it had been made.

The experience is what matters, not some unknown time limitation to discuss something just because some newbie hasn't played it yet, enough has got to be enough, ya know.

And this game is really cool, backed it over a week ago, looking forward to a fresh take on the genre.

@amcdc79 @uncle5555 @blackace Since you asked...watch around the 8:45 mark, he gets stuck IN an object. It was a bad RE clone, and done very poorly.

I enjoyed A Fistful of Boomstick and completed that one, and from the bit of Regeneration I played that seemed nice too, but Hail to the King is just a very poorly done game, sadly enough.
