@Cyberjin@freeryu: The base PS4 already plays UC4 at 60fps for multiplayer, and for singleplayer it plays at 30 regardless if you have a Pro or base. All the Pro does is increase the resolution on both.
@BassMan: Might be weird for me to say this, but I would say it's probably because the Horizon engine is more optimized to run at 30fps compared to 60, and has been tailored to run on Xbox One, rather than FM6 (Apex), which is made to run at 60fps and doesn't have a big open world to stream, hence why Apex ran beautifully on PC. Hopefully they don't cock up FM7 and make it run as well as Apex did.
@joshrmeyer: I'd actually count it as one, since I only bought it once, and its playable on both platforms, kinda how a mobile game works on both a phone and a tablet.
@lrdfancypants: I never said Playground is owned by Microsoft, I was referring to 343 and Coalition since OP was talking about MS' lineup. Yeah having played all Horizon games they are contracted to do Horizon games, and so far they've been doing a good job of it.
@gameplayuk: Well we can only tell if this title will suffer the same fate if the game is delayed in 2018/19, then it might move to PS5. Is it just japanese devs that love to announce that they're making a game and announcing it instead of waiting until the game is practically done and then announce it (like fallout 4)?
Good to see the boss admitting saying to wait until what the system is capable of before buying it. Really people shouldn't pre-order much of anything and should wait for it to come out.
@gameoftrolls: As a fellow PC gamer here, you do seem to false evidence. the Wii is NOT more powerful than a PS3, nor was the Xbox One, Wii U to the PS4.
