@rolento25: Mattrick saw Wii as a success (we all know it got lucky), pushed kinect to 360, thought it was the future for the One, and pushed always online, no used games, said the One is an entertainment system (despite the fact the Original xbox and the xbox brand was made for gaming) and he's the one who said to get the 360 if you have no internet. So yeah he's a smug asshole and I'm glad he's replaced by Phil and hopefully never comes back to gaming.
@smokerob79: Well it's not a hardware issue for sure. My theory is that MS really supported Bethesda on getting mods working, especially since that new was announced on last year's Xbox E3. Sony probably didn't give Bethesda as much support, so yeah.
@reduc_ab_: The truth is that the OG Xbox One and PS4 were way too underpowered. They should've had hardware that achieved 1080p on all games. The 360 and PS3 at launch were properly powerful and were a good buy near launch.
@Tiwill44: Well yeah this console is aimed to the more 'casual' audience. If you are a console player, you're more likely to get Scorpio. If you're a PC player, stick with your PC and enjoy more games.
@kyelo: But the fact we know Scorpio is coming, some who aren't going to PC but want the most powerful console, will wait for Scorpio. Personally being honest to consumers and letting us know Scorpio is coming is a big win for us and maybe a big win for Xbox.
I'm sure devs are still going to use Steam's Early Access, with the more diverse audience to test with, but I guess its better than nothing because we can see shitty UWP titles.
