@guzhead That would require the Box be always online, but since all the cry babies cried, that functionality is no longer possible.
That's a great idea and another example of what COULD HAVE BEEN if the cry babies didn't have a hissy fit. Buying games from your phone and having them installed, ready to play at home.
@longshotcubed We don't know what kind of features will be implemented with bio-feedback yet because the developers haven't started working with it yet. But I'm sure they'll come up with great stuff.
I'm not creative like that, so I can't think up the possibilities, but imagine having a natural conversation with an NPC in an RPG. He says something and you are surprised, the Kinect picks up on it and the NPC replies by saying "i see that surprises you...."
I read somewhere that one developer wants to mess with you if you turn your head away from the TV. Not a tremendous ground-breaking feature but the potential is there.
Look, the advantages of a cell phone are obvious, but go back 10 years and if someone told you that they wanted to put a camera in a cell phone, whouldn't you be like "What for? To spy on me? What do i need that for?" But look at all the functinoality that's possible only with a camera in a cell phone. You can read bar codes to get product info and locations of stores that have a certain product cheaper using the GPS in a phone.
The same way we could not imagine the possibilities of combining a phone with a camera beforehand, we cannot imagine the possibilities of combining a game console and a camera.
@spartanx169x @vatorus It does actually. And it has to be required so developers know that they can add the bio-feedback functinoality into games if they want. And the Xbox 1 recognizes you using bio-feedback to load your personal profile, no password needed. Like a retinal scanner. Tell me that's not cool.
@johndoe696969 @vatorus If you really think the Kinect is going to spy on you, you are a real fking idiot plain and simple. Like the cmaera in every laptop and cell phone can't be used for spying...moron.
Oh, and learn some grammar...typical Sony fanboy, dumb and uneducated.
I was wondering why there were so many SOny fanboys spewing anti-Xbox hatred on here and then it hit me...if you're a Sony fanboy, you're probably a social outcast loser that has no life and therefore, has nothing better to do than sit on the Internet all day.
