To be honest I really don't give a shit about this game... but I do give a shit about Freedom of Speech and not allowing censorship and while this doesn't stop censorship, hopefully it will become one less example of it. Good for you Aussies, maybe someday your gov't will finally understand that a grown ass man/woman should have the right to enjoy any media they want (I don't mean that in a rude/sarcastic manner either).
I like this dude, he wants Gamestop to stop keeping all the money from used sales and doesn't want to hurt the consumer in the process. To me, that's not that bad.
It sucks but selling digital items just won't work, their is no decay of the object nor is there any added inconvenience of having to go to the store to trade in. Then not to mention you will get a lot more $ than at Gamestop, which means that there is no reason to buy new. No reason to buy new means that Steam (and PC gaming as a whole) will be EXTREMELY crippled. Not to mention, we can probably say goodbye to Steam Sales. TBH, if I had to pick between not being able to resell or not having the option at all I pick not being able to resell.
@scatterbrain007 Because people wouldn't pay to see it in theaters. It might be the best movie of all time and if they spent more than 20 million on it (which they would) they would lose millions for sure.
No it wont. Sorry, Ubi, but your gonna be disappointed, this game will sell really well but it ain't movin 6 million. But on the bright Side, when you get to Watch Dogs Reloaded or Watch Dogs Revelution or maybe on of the other sequels down the line you might get 6 million sales.
If its something like 3 bucks than I don't give that much of a shit, but if they try to charge even half of a full priced game than everybody who buys it either has a lot of disposable income or is a complete and total idiot.
@Ultra_Taco I also think he might have been referencing the Hitman game series, you know 2 series of games with a shit ton of sequels and they are about assassins and they are both made by Ubisoft.
@Melchior111 TBH, it doesn't mean that its going to be watered down. It could very easily just be a completely new story set in the same universe. Hell, look at Knights of the Old Republic, you didn't even need to see the movies to understand the game, and you didn't need to play the first one to understand the second.
@Hvac0120 He probably called him a 'he' because he played male Sheppard. I played male-Shep and I call him he, I'm assuming someone who plays Fem-Shep calls her a she.
