Hey, Activision is taking a huge risk! Once people wake up and realize every Call of Duty sequel is essentially the same exact game as previous installments Activision is gonna go out of business, that's a HUGE risk!
Is this a move to try to make their product more appealing? When has being the most powerful system EVER made it sell best? Wii was weak as hell, PS2 was weak as hell, PS1 was weak as hell, it just keeps going back. Making a system more powerful doesn't really effect sales, thats' just the truth of the matter.
I would say good, this means Rift will get more competition because that's how capitalism works, but considering the guys of Oculus are so damn dedicated that they're already seemingly giving 110% I doubt this will change how awesome the Rift will be.
Still, glad that my Sony friends will have their own Rift headset (just don't mess it up, Sony!).
@dmdavenport That's true, you shouldn't call it free to play if you have to buy stuff. But you don't have to buy stuff, that is why its called free to play.
@AggrandizedUser Can't speak for the other 2 but DOTA 2 isn't a grindfest. Also, TF2 (aka the best FTP game ever made) is in no way a grindfest for me. I play it, I have a lot of fun and I don't think I've ever bought anything from it. It is just an awesome (and free) game.
@Renegade_Garrus @Colekern Holy ****, you just used the term 'it was a bunch of hogwash'... Garrus, go do some calibrations your making yourself look silly :P
Thats a shame I guess, there are a few things the Wii U tablet could probably do to make a few improvements here and there in the game. Nothing spectacular or revolutionary, but probably something cool could have happened.
