OK, so the logic here is this... instead of having a system were only 1/4 of the owners will buy a peripheral they decide to make the system come with the peripheral (making it cost more) even though it will make them only sell 1/4th the total amount of systems....
The Wii U might be the stupidest console name since... well the Wii but that isn't stopping me from getting the system, whats stopping me is the 100% lack of games for it!
@Micropixel I really don't think its gonna sell still. Cut the price all you want, but at the end of the day not many people want a system with no games. The majority of good games are ports of old 360/PS3/PC games and the majority of what is left are sequels to long running franchises that are more or less the same as previous titles. There are maybe 3 games I actually care about for the Wii U and none of them are interesting enough to pay $300 for the system, same goes for almost everyone else.
Well, if I ever fall down a flight of stairs and damage my brain to the point where I actually do want to buy an Xbone, I'll just get a kinectless one off craigslist for like $250.
I really want to like the Wii U but I just can't. I mean the most publicized game in the entire consoles history is an HD Remake, I just can't look at a console like that and say 'Now here is something worth buying!'. Maybe in a few years it will actually get a handful of must play games and I'll pick one up on Craistlist, but I really just don't see the Wii U succeeding with its current list of releases.
