Now I haven't bought either of them, I've tried both of them at a friends house though, in his opinion they're too short to be worth their current price.

Yeah I don't get the hype either, also a leveling system in an RTS doesn't appeal to me.

Unfortunately I didn't. I had a choice, and as far as I am concerned, ME2 is supposedly better than ME1.

ME2 is better than ME1, yes, but it looses alot of value if you haven't played ME1

On my first playthrough I lost Legion, Thane, Zaeed, Jack, Tali and Jacob. Then I did a second playthrough and made sure everyone surived

Get the updates Garrus, Tali and Jacob recommends (New guns, better kinetic barriers and enhanced ship armor) make sure everyone is loyal, Tali or Legion needs to go through the vents, Miranda or Jacob or Garrus needs to lead the fire squad, Samara or Jack with LS5 implants needs to hold the biotic barrier, Mordin needs to escort the crew back to the ship, again Miranda or Jacob or Garrus needs to lead the fire squad. It doesn't really matter who you bring to finish off the boss.

Recent news of Mafia2 being ~10 hours long is rather disappointing.

Anyone else disgusted with the length of most of todays games.

Just imagine if Dragon Age was only 10 hours long, what would people say?

It's a console engine, the map and mod tools are oh so advanced that the people at DICE are having a hard time at using them (Yeah right) but anyways Battlefield 3 will run Frostbite 2 which is being developed as a PC engine (Around DX11 and 64 bit tech)
