@PredatorRules: Just for fun I looked up if that Saints row 4: $1,000,000 edition was real let alone if anyone actually shelled out the cash for it. I couldn't find anything "officially" denying its legitimacy but I did hear some of the developers describing it as being fake and just a joke.

I wonder if someone actually called them on it with the money at the ready lol.

Kind of reminds me of that Saints Row 4: Super Dangerous WAD WAD edition that was going for $1,000,000.

It was so ridiculously absurd that I'm not even sure if it was real or not. I think it claimed that they would give you a Lamborghini, a trip to space and a whole host of other "prizes" in addition to plastic surgery LOL.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, I will more than likely be having a quiet evening. To tell you the truth, if I recall correctly from last year, I don’t even think I made it to midnight. Must have nodded off around 11 or so.

Yeah, I know… pathetic LOL. What can I say, I’m becoming an old ninja.

I don’t think that’s solely the reason however. Somehow the idea of going out and getting plastered or possibly waking up in some random location you have no recollection of ever inhabiting in your life to sirens and the smell of your own vomit doesn’t seem so appealing (What kind of parties do you go to ninja?????).

But still… perhaps I can live vicariously though some of you on Saturday night.

As much as I personally hate the idea of digital only taking over I too see the trends. Its only a matter of time.

Wonder when it is the norm how it will effect people who just want to lend or borrow games from their friends. I remember Xboxone had something in place when they announced it at E3 but that was also another reason (in addition to its launch price point and "online only" mode.) why it didn't have the impact the PS4 did out of the gate. Gamers weren't too thrilled with being told what they could or couldn't do as well as what they were limited to.

I remember Sony taking digs at Microsoft literally backstage at that event regarding that subject matter.
