well, wow! :P do you know what silly is! that i thought that perhaps someone would react normal! i get it, it's systemwars! people can't even come up with their ideas! nooo, it's all about which game has the best graphics and o, scored the most! so intresting ...

i just thought of a little something that might be fun! might not ... but o well, lets give it a try. Make some awsome, silly, stupid combination with different things from different games ^^! what does this have to do with system wars? maybe you can try to make something from all systems or, if you're some fanboy, use it to laught with other games ... if your inventive enough ;)

i'll give an example .. i'll take the resident evil world and theme with cellshaded graphics ( like windwaker ), gameplay from portal, banjo as the guy i play and mario as your teammate. just an example!

yea, but normally with games, you have a 0.1 scale, so a 9.6 is possible! a 4.6 star not ...! but reviewing system changed .. for the worst IMO! a ten should be something revolutionary! i don't get it!! how long are you on gamespot! i have been member since 2003 and believe me, a ten just didn't happen here like it would now! never have games been ratted so high, maybe MGSV and GTA IV deserve a ten, but it's not so special anymore! o, on the n64 you had conker, oot, the two banjo's, perfect dark and goldeneye! but hey, does were awsome games! who will remember the games these day's ( with a few acceptions ) like we do with the old ones!

if i was a reviewer on some proffesionel website i only would give OOT a ten ( didn't play all the other ten's here, so i can't judge )! as a personnel expierence i would give halo: ce and metroid prime a ten! maybe so donkey kong from the n64 day's :p so much fun back then :D

A ten just means it isn't going to get much better any time soon, or top of the heap. Of course once in a while games like these are developed. You'd expect multiple 9.5's a year, but 10's aren't given every year. That's pretty much the story. If the scoring would end at a 9.5, you'd get 9.5's every year. You wouldn't be able to pinpoint a game that stands out even more. 11Marcel

yes, and before the new reviewing system you could pinpoint that out with a 9.7-9.8-9.9 ... but no you can't! so it's easyer to give a game a ten if you want to pinpoint it out! agreed?

lol..thats what I was implying for, the truth is everyone who owns a PS3 enjoyed it to the fullest, there are alot of AAA games and two AAAA games on the library of the PS3 so I was only talking smack to the poster, thats it all.

and it can be that MGS V is awsome! but, gears was also when it came out! ( not using gears as exclusive or something ) and so is halo 3, GRAW and forza! but for people with another taste! :)! but you have made you're point, and i accept that you chose them above xbox's 360! no problem, as long as you don't pass it as a fact, i'm okay

i alreaddy expained myself in another thread! i just think that gamespot isn't the gamespot anymore from, lets say, three years ago! sure, MGSV and GTAV are awsome games! but i think gamespot is giving away too much high scores lattely! guy"s that are longer here know that, others don't! a ten was special, now bang, two in a month! you will say it ain't true, but it woudn't have happened with greg kasavan around!

i think it has also to do with the new reviewing system! halo 3, orange box, ssbb, crysis, world in conflict, super mario galaxy! all 9.5 games! and what does a reviewer do with a game that is better, they can't keep giving 9.5's away! a ten ... maybe it would have gotten a 9.8 or 9.9! i don't know, maybe a ten! but i miss the old gamespot, this one is more commercial. a ten is something revolutionary i think :).
