I would say that overall I am a little more pleased with Nintendos games on the Wii than I was previous generations. I'm not necessarily saying I think it was there best system, I am pretty partial to the gamecube. However, The fact that we had 2 great 3D mario games, 2 zelda games (I really enjoyed both of them), 2 metroid (i know other M was not that great but it still happened), a return of donkey kong country, multiple fun (if simple) kirby games, an enjoyable mario kart, xenoblade chronicles, a fun 2d mario, my favorite (so far) wario ware game, wario land shake it, and along with some great downloadable games.

I look at the amount of quality first party titles and, to me at least, I feel like there are more than there was for their previous consoles.

I think it is more that you don't enjoy Nintendo games, because I have greatly enjoyed more than a handfull of first party games on Wii. In fact, I have a good amount more games for that than I did when I had my ps3 or what I currently have on my 360.

[QUOTE="charizard1605"][QUOTE="UCF_Knight"] Well God bless them for purchasing an entire system for the handful of quality games Nintendo puts out, without a care in the world for online play or current multiplats. If everyone was as loose with their money, our economy would be much better off!UCF_Knight
They usually have two systems. The old adage of 'Nintendo makes the best secondary systems,' that's where it comes from.

They're still buying an entire system, for literally only a handful of games. Hell I was one of those people. Now looking back on it I see how stupid it was, considering I've disliked most of my Wii games so much I've sold them. And over the past couple years a lot I've seen a ton of people do the same or sell their console entirely. I spent a similar amount of money on the other consoles and in return I received several games I really enjoy on each system, as well as functional online play, the XBL/ PSN stores, and the little things such as convenient friends lists and a decent messaging service. The value is not comparable. I recognize people can enjoy the few great games Nintendo puts out, but logically speaking there is no value there. Which is why I won't be fooled next gen with the Wii U. I'm not spending another generation crossing my fingers and hoping Nintendo consistently releases great games.

I really am not seeing a whole lot of hate for it, more like discussions about the poor sales that the system is having. The main negative things I'm seeing be said are about the expensive memory cards that are mandatory. However, the best explanation that I can think of for the hate that has been seen is most likely because of Sony's attitude. They bash all of the other console manufactures, say that there is no reason for someone over a certain age to play anythign but their system. Then, when their system does not do very well there are a lot of people who say something about it who might not have if the company had had a better attitude.

[QUOTE="189419841894"]everyone is using a controller on a console189419841894

So why are you complaining? Everybody is using the same controller. Nobody has an unfair advantage you just suck.

because the player doesnt make all the crosshair movement decisions himself the game helps. ITS RANDOM ITS NOT SKILL

In the time that I have spent with the games I never noticed any aim assist, I know what you are talking about because I have seen it in other games but not in gears or halo...as far as I know

I just recently played through the whole trilogy for the first time and I felt like the series continued to get better and that the 3rd was my favorite. I can't speak for the online since I didn't even try with the first 2, but I like what I have played on 3. I know that the story wasn't great, but I just thought the 3rd was the most fun

I use reviews as part of my reserach in deciding if I want a game, but not the sole reason. And isn't the whole point of the review to give an opinion to help in deciding if you want to buy a game, see a movie, etc. I don't understand the idea that you are wrong if you read a review as part of your decision making process when that is what they are there for. REviews aren't made for ammo in system wars

I have a 3D tv, but I was having some issues getting the 3D to work when playing Gears 3. I set 3D on once I was in game and all that happened was I had the game screen shrink to one half of the tv with the other half showing the same image. I believe I am going to have to buy a faster HDMI cable for the 360 for the 3D to work properly, but I was wondering if there is any setting in the 360 menu that needs to be turned on for the 3D to work properly.
