@Halloll Just like Skyrim. My console worked absolutely fine but I'd heard rumours about it freezing, a 'patch' came out which I installed but then a week later it bricked my PS3. Gutted.
I generally play a game and then update it once done. Safest way these days!
I'm not even a PC gamer but I may just start hanging around these comments sections to escape to fanboy trolls on just about every other article.. It's getting insane out there :|
I've got an old PC with Windows XP which crashes for just about everything (including my old copy of Red Alert 2). I can still kick it here though yeah? :D
@valknight @warhawk-geeby I said I understand the bitching, fact of the matter is though Microsoft unveiled their console by focusing on TV, Sports and the most mainstream game there is - Call of Duty. They screwed over their biggest fans in effort to secure the greater market. All of their policies however were either too early for global infrastructures or just downright out of touch with the consumers. Sony on the otherhand focused on games, developers and gamers, TV (whilst admittedly planned) has been delivered as an afterthought.
Looking at these comments it's just people religiously defending either company. Fanboys. My only stance on the matter is Sony appeared to be offering a gaming console with additional extras. Microsoft offered a media hub that plays games. They're practically identical now either way so there's little point even arguing! Folks just can't take news well whatever it is.
These comments are hilarious... what's the average age on here?
Sony make some excellent shows and movies, Breaking Bad being one of them. Something which in the UK isn't even on TV, we have to source it through Netflix.
I understand all the bitching being given considering the way Microsoft were treated, but if Sony offer PlayStation users discounted/exclusive content then hell yeah, put me down.
If you're buying the consoles for gaming that great, this shouldn't even apply to you. For someone that's used his console has a Blu-Ray player though the more optional entertainment features the better. The difference is Microsoft focused on TV and Sports first, Sony focused on games. They're now both in equal positions.
@gamespotpanayis Yeah the guy above just raised a good point, families. Taking that in to account it's quite understandable.. They don't particularly care.
