@aigis: In your profile Settings page, turn off "Show me desktop notifications".

@Acidic__Thought: If you are signed-in, you shouldn't see them at all. Next time you see one, could you send a screenshot, and the URL where you saw it? I'd like to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

@lamprey263: That doesn't actually look like an ad, but perhaps just a cached version of a promo image that is breaking out of its box somehow. Can you try clearing your cache and looking again? And if you're still seeing it, please send the URL where it appears. Thanks!
