Sorry but japanese gamers are the worse gamers ever lol.

Really? I disagree. American gamers like COD and Halo, thus we have a whole freaking gen of milking repetition

from what I've read, most Japanese gamers

1) don't like difficult games

2) don't play online nor even hook their console up

3) prefer long grindy single player games mostly story driven

4) value colorful visuals and story over actual gameplay

None of this fits into what i like, games are meant to provide challenges, be social and have fun with friends, and gameplay > every other factor.

Also japanese gamers don't like anything with guns, it doesn't fit their culture.

If all that were correct, I would like Japanese games a lot more.

You're basically doing the equivalent of pulling the plug on a running computer. You know, that thing they tell you never to do? It may work fine 99 times out of 100, but that one time when it happened to be installing an update or saving data or who knows what when you decided it was time to pull the plug... And, bam, you've bricked your expensive toy.

If you're going to unplug it... Turn it off (ALL THE WAY OFF) first.

Test. (First time didn't work. Refreshed and posted again and it worked. If you're seeing anything more than the word Test, then I was able to edit.)

Bleh. Broken forums is broken...

I already have a stream machine, its called a PC.

Why do I need another one?

I think that's pretty much the doom of the Steam console right there. Although if it did take off I wouldn't complain. The PC hardware market could use the boost.

Just a crazy thought, but... Maybe call the company and check?

Trine 2 uses it. It is surprisingly sensitive. Consider it like a one to one touchpad. Of course with it's placement on the controller it's really freaking awkward to try to use it for anything complex (one of Trine's characters uses it to summon boxes by drawing a square, but it's so sensitive it's damn near impossible to get one dropped where you want it).

I've got both. Honestly, they're about comparable. PS4's UI is slicker, but weirdly organized (not looking forward to it when I have lots of games). XB1 is more functional, but lacks the cool factor. They're both pretty quiet, but I do notice the PS4's Blu-Ray drive when it's seeking (seems to be more on games than movies). Controllers are fine, I prefer the XB1 (fits my hands better and is designed to switch between bumper and trigger with just the index finger vs trying to keep two fingers wrapped around the front of the controller which I could never do).

Graphics? For all the hype what I've seen is comparable.

Still, they're both nice upgrades from last gen. Looking forward to 2014.

Campaigns. Multiplayer with friends is fun, but not that many of my friends have taken the plunge yet on the new consoles and random MP is like wandering into a support group meeting for 12 year olds with turret's.

And, sadly, 99% of those 12 year olds can p0wn me, to boot.

Gamertag: WG McFartypants

Timezone: Central

Currently I have COD, DR3, Ryse, Forza 5, AC4, NFS, KI (and a couple others I won't admit to).

Nearing 42 (so I'm dead, apparently)

Of course with commute and two jobs I'm offline more than I'm on and I'm about as hardcore as a jelly baby.

Still, if you need one more car to crash into in Forza... :D
