Not trolling. I've got my Xbox One and will eventually want a PS4. I know both had blow out releases and availability is going to be scarce for a while no matter what. I'm just wondering if the PS4s use of scarcer and more expensive memory chips could cause a shortage or slow production.

I haven't heard anything of this nature, but I've seen chip shortages impact the market before. DDR5's market was pretty much mid to high end graphics cards. Add in the PS4 and demand just went way up. Is supply going to be an issue?

As far as I know, yes.

Unless the changes have changed since August (which is possible) here's a list: http://www.webpronews.com/these-xbox-one-features-require-xbox-live-gold-2013-08

I can't verify since I have a live account.

Never had any glitches with video. I've had one race where it seems like the sound got lost for a portion of the race.

The sound field is designed to center around your car, but it acted like it got attached to some other point on the map getting more and more distant, and then eventually came back. Was weird and repeatable at least during that play session.

Never happened again, though.

You might try doing a full shut down and reboot to see if flushing the memory helps at all. Good luck.

Wait, we're going off demos uploaded to YouTube? YouTube DOES re-render the video, lowering the quality.. How is this proof of anything?

How would the Kinect be impacting the GPU? CPU, maybe, but I think you've got your story a little muddled. And whether a game uses the kinnct or not, if they turn it off you lose the ability to use voice commands to change apps, snap things, etc.

Where in the world did you guys come up with those names? Why did they stick? I mean lemmings makes a little sense except it applies pretty well to both groups. Cows? I don't get it.

Where did this war originate and is it safe to assume some of you guys know each other in real life? As much awkward tension seems to boil over from thread to thread I'd tell you all to go get a room, but I'm assuming at least half of you are under twelve and I don't want to get arrested for inciting some weird child porn event.

I understand the idea that you got a console and you like it and you want other people to like it too, but is the size of your ePeen really that dependent on proving you're right? Chances are at least half of you that are currently shouting, cutting and pasting fabricated screen caps and videos to produce bogus comparisons, and making the most nonsensical arguments are going to end up owning BOTH consoles before the end of this cycle... So what's the big deal?

And... If your console is so great... Why aren't you playing it?

Wondering if the XB1 does some sort of regulation for bandwidth. I went back and checked all my video downloads and they're all a little over 4mbps which is right around what it reports my upload speed as.

And, like rrjim1 says, they look fine to me on multiple devices (from phone to 60" HDTV).

What detail are you missing? The road? According to the speedometer you're doing 56mph, so I'd expect some motion blur on the ground.

I've also recorded several clips and uploaded them to my skydrive. They look pretty much like the game.

It sure isn't going to make the 360 die any time soon. The One is MS's vision for getting a multimedia (gaming, entertainment, computing, and social media) foothold in your living room. It's meant to tie in to everything you do, so when you plop down in your living room you can access all the things you'd want to do on your pc/mobile/whatever from the comfort of your couch and tv without having to go through the geek-hassle of hooking up a PC to your home entertainment center.

Right now they have the hardware and the OS to deliver it, but they haven't built and refined the apps. There isn't even any kind of newsfeed (unless you want to dig in with the browser) to find out what's new and coming. Where the 360 was packed with advertisements, at least you felt tuned in to what's going on when you're using it. The One, so far, feels pretty disconnected and empty. That'll change sooner than later, but until Xbox One gets it's games AND apps flowing, the 360 is still a better experience.

Wow, watch the misinformation fly.

If you save a video with swearing and share it with the community you're breaching their terms of service and will get a temporary ban of some online privileges (including skype calls). They aren't monitoring skype. Also a couple of the sports games will give technical fouls for swearing, which are features you can turn off and have been around longer than the Xbox One.

Someone reporting you on multiplayer is a whole different story.
