@murstdurst @wickedsc300 @ALCHEMISTx24x7 Are you high? Why would buying a game after a price drop hurt the industry? It's better than the dev's getting $0.00 from buying it used. I really doubt it will fade away, if you think that you are very very naive. With gas prices going up why drive to GameStop when I can digitally download a game? So I take it you have never bought a game digitally? Because you can't sell that. I've enjoyed many Digital downloaded games on my 360, PS3 and my PC, none of which I can sell.
@murstdurst @wickedsc300 @ALCHEMISTx24x7 Actually you don't. It's their product and they can do whatever they want. Wan't to talk about naive? A person who thinks 500 million dollars in used games at GS a year does not effect the game industry, that sir is naive.
@murstdurst @wickedsc300 @ALCHEMISTx24x7 If you think that used games sales have not cut into first release sales you need to do some research. You are hearing about it now because the tech is finally catching up to where they can do something about it. You sound like you're entitle to used games. News flash, if people don't want to give them money for a product they have every right to not offer it to you. If the kids can't afford it wait until it drops in price, I just bought Silent Hill Downpour for $12 new because I didn't think it was worth it at $60 but at least that money goes to the Devs not Gamestop.
@ALCHEMISTx24x7 Exactly!! But people on here claim to be video game fans yet they buy games that do no help the industry. If someone makes something you love you should invest in that future. For video games that means not buying used games and waiting for a price drop. We have nobody to blame for DRM except those people who buy used games.
