Completely pointless, the only reason this will happen is because of how bad Resident Evil 6 was. It's just Capcom yet again milking anything they can.

@DarthLod What about GoldenEye 007 on the N64, or the Aladdin games Capcom made for the SNES and Mega Drive? It's true that mostly movie tie-ins are bad, but not all of them.

I have been playing Pokemon since I was 9 years old, starting with Red and Blue. I'm now 21, yet Nintendo continually keep me playing the franchise. How do they do it? I'm actually happy to see that finally each main region will get these games in the same month.

Forcing a constant connection to the internet is never for the benefit of the gamers. Look at how bad Diablo III was at launch. Devs these days talk crap.

I wonder how many consumers will be lost if this tech is incorporated into the PS4? As a collector I make a habit of buying all the hardware, because there are great games across all platforms. But if I can't play pre-owned games on the PS4 I won't get one... not until a hack comes about that counters the technology at least (in a similar manner to how some hacks get around region locking). I shouldn't be forced to buy every game I want brand new, because not every game is worth £40 at launch.When will game companies understand that the used games market is essential to the industry? How many people buy games, then sell those games once finished in order to fund another new purchase? If they rob these people of the option to sell their games those gamers won't bother with the console at all. The more and more money that is poured into this industry the worse and worse it becomes for consumers. It's not like everyone is skint, the games industry already makes more pure profit that Hollywood and the music industry, yet they still want more.

I can appreciate the fact that companies need to make money to remain viable, but it gets to a point when the words 'greedy b******s' need to be used. In a way I hope Sony uses this tech in the PS4, because then they'll realize a a sudden surge in piracy.

Can't wait to play this. The original Elite is still one of the best games ever made.
