It blows my mind that anyone can still put up with 30fps. It's like playing games in slow motion.

Honestly now that I'm used to gaming with dlss on a high refresh rate monitor even 60 doesn't feel great to me anymore.

@hardwenzen: since I returned to gaming from being injured, the majority of my time has been spent playing stuff on GP that I missed last year so i'm subbed anyways.

I can always play it initially on GP, then get it cheap down the road if I want to revisit it with mods or whatever and I'm no longer subbed.

$36 is a great price though

So basically this tells me that most devs outside China are going to start pandering/bending over backwards to get past their censors in order to get those sweet sweet sales

I mean, I've dug their last few games including Grounded and Pentiment so I'm comfortable saying I like the work of the current iteration of Obsidian

It's Obsidian so I'm sure it will at least be solid. I'm basically expecting fantasy the Outer Worlds

I think I might be the only person on here who liked BL3.

sure, the main villains were awful and annoying but the gameplay was fun, it had cool locations and its still the only loot game series with actually interesting loot IMO. I'd rather play a Borderlands game than Destiny any day of the week. Just play it with a friend or two and turn the dialogue volume down.

I do think they are hitting diminishing returns with their formula though. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands felt pretty stale despite their attempts to shake things up. we'll see what they do with BL4

If this is the team that did Mafia 3 and the Mafia 1 remake, i'll be surprised if its any good.

the original Mafia was awesome, but even the remake which should have been a slam dunk felt way off to me and I didn't play very much of it.

every game in this series seems to be worse than the one before it so we'll see if they can reverse that trend

haven't seen the latest season yet but The Boys is the only one i've really gotten into.

but i'm not a big superhero guy so probably stands to reason the most subversive one is the one I like most. And even then, it sorta devolves into "good" superheroes vs. "bad" superheroes, aka Superheroes vs. Supervillains.

kinda wish they just left it at a bunch of normal dudes trying to find creative ways to kill corrupt superheroes like in the first few episodes
