Here are my current pc specs: Dell Dimension XPS Gen 2: P4 3.0ghz w/800mhz/ht technology, 1024 mb @400mhz memory, ATI 128 mb 9800 pro. I am going to upgrade the memory to 3 gig and want to know which video card would be better. best buy has the 1650 for $99.00 and the best price i found for the 1950 is $189.99. This will be the last upgrade i do until i buy a new pc. i am running agp buy the way. thanx!

With my specs (x1950 pro included) is 3 gb total memory overkill vs. 2 gbtotal memoryor will it help my system? this will be my last upgrade until i buy a whole new system, so i want this to last awhile. thanx

Hey, I do not own any console games, but want to buy one for my son. Help me with a newb question, for I am a PC gamer. What is the difference between the 80, 60, 20 gig models (apart from gig size.) If the games come on a disc, are played off the disc, what is the hard drive used for?

Would I have a space problem installing a x1950 pro in my pc? The reviews that I have read said that the x1950pro is a large card. I want to replace my 9800 pro. I have a full size tower.

I have Half-Life, Opposing Force, and Blue Shift on the cd discs. I also have them on my Steam account. Could I play them without being on Steam from the discs?
