that looks pretty good, but i would shop around for something modular, its really useful, if you can find one in your price range, but i think that would be adequete

Heres my setup: 24"iMac, 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2gb memory, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS with 512MB memory

The games I want to play are Mass Effect, Spore, Left 4 Dead, Warhammer Online, and StarCraft 2. I would also like to get some opinions on Mass Effect 2 and 3. Will the sequels be similar to the original in terms of requirements?

Mac_Gamer101

what do you mean by mass effect 2 and 3?, i have only heard of some expansion packs for the first one, where did you here that?

check this out, i was researching how much power it takes to run two gtx 260's, and i found this on toms hardware

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-gtx-280,1953-25.html

im no scientist, but 270 x 2 = 540, if you got fans, cpu, hard drive, and disk drive,

your cuttin it very close on power

XP > Vista anyday. Helbrec

sry to pick on you helbrec, but people that do this make me angry, you see a list of reasons why these 15 people think that vista is better and then you say

XP > Vista

wow, a lot of effort went into that didnt it, we're on here because we want your reason why you think it is better or worse,

in my opinion, vista. i love it, besides a few issues i had when i installed it, its been great, just do the updates whenever you can and they have seemed to fix all of the problems i have ever heard of with this os, and anyone that says 'there arent any drivers for vista' they dont know what they're talking about, i have installed two or three pieces of hardware each two years old, one said NO 64 BIT SUPPORT, i get on there website, what do you know, a patch driver for vista x64, i have never had a game that doesnt run on it, starcraft even runs fine, a ten year old game, vista home premium x64, the one everyone says has no support. i think most of the problems come in when people try to upgrade from xp 32bit to vista x64, and dont realize they arent compatible, then ask ' why didnt it work?? its vista, its no good' and does anyone think in 6 months from now, 1 year, 2 years from now, any company is going to be updating drivers for a 6 year old OS??

if your going with a new build, go vista all the way, x64, 4 to 8gigs of ram!!

i have an 8800gts 512 and i know it isnt necesary to upgrade but i geuss you could say i'm doing it as a favor. anyways i want to get two EVGA 9800gtx+ cards from newegg before the mail in rebate is up and i want to make sure that my psu will be able to handle it first, so does anyone know how much two 9800gtx+ use?
