i agree with cheetfreak, and i say the 4850 is a great card price to performance wise, stay away from the 9600gt, and that cpu is bomb, i have the e8400 and it rocks, so dont worry you wont have any problems with that for a while

so i checked and getting a 2nd 8800 gts is out of the question, they discontinued the one i have and I'm not going to get something lower quality or higher in price, so if the 9800 gx2 is out of the question because of micro-stuttering, how about the 9800gtx, or 9800 gtx+ ??

i read something that said that if the frame rate is higher than the refresh rate, it would eliminate the micro-stuttering, so shouldn't this card be able to put out a frame rate of 60+ in most games, even on maxed out settings?

my monitor only has a 60Hz max so, hypothetically it should eliminate it, right?

even if it doesn't, is this a problem that could potentially be fixed with new drivers?

i was reading the reviews on new egg and a lot of them said the same thing but they also said that the latest driver update fixed most of their problems, and newegg is pretty good about returns and rma's so im not too worried about that

i know i dont need to, but i bought a 42in lg 1080p lcd tv, and its beautiful but it means a couple of games wont run maxed out any more, now i looked into buying a second 8800gts and it was about 50$ more, and a 9800gtx was about 50$ less with considerable step down in performance, so i figured i have money to spend so i just want to make sure im not going to buy this and find out it isnt any better than my current card

so i have an amazing computer, by my standards, but i have an EVGA 8800gts 512mb , and im looking to upgrade to a 9800gx2, also EVGA, when the cards first came out they were ridiculously priced (of course) but recently EVGA dropped the price of one card down by almost half! i couldn't believe it, but of course there's almost always a catch, nut i cant seem to find it, besides the fact that its not overclocked at all, no big i can overclock it myself, so can anyone tell me why this card is such a great deal? if it is,

thanks
