This is why I cant overclock, people.

So, upgrades planned for somewhere between now and june-

6GB 1600Mhz RAM

Good CPU cooler

New case

Perhaps another GTX280

haha, perhaps. ya get like the zalman 9700, i think it is, or the Xigmatek HDT-S1283. that xigmatek is a beast, if you have a wide enough case for it.

what?? no, your missing the point, it's not to get the employees their jobs back, it's just to help show the company that their is a loyal fan base of willing customers, to show them that this title will be profitable. maybe they are on the edge of cancelling it and if they see that thousands of people are going to be buying the game, then perhaps that will change their mind. it's not going to hurt you in any way, just sign, maybe the game will convince them that we need an AVP3 game.

GTX 295 actually. But I would say, if you already have one 8800GTX, then go with those two.

donation?Hellboard

The donation thing isnt necesary, I almost bit into to it too, but if you read the fine print it says that the donation is for the site, not for the petition and isn't needed to submit your signature. Actually when you see that message your signature has already been added.

BTW- Thank You to all of you that have signed, I'm sure we will be happy to see this game on the shelves, hopefully soon.:)

I think its great that microsoft finally started this. We've needed this for a long time, it's a good standard for games to live up to, one that we should have seen a long time ago if you ask me.

1. Riddick (I don't care that he was in a movie, he is still legit)

2. Master Chief

3. Gordon Freeman

4. Any character that is modeled after Chuck Norris

I'm sure most of you have heard about this great new game, and I'm sure all of you know how bad the economy is right now. Well I've heard that there have been several layoffs in many publishers, some in the ALIENS: Colonial Marines development team!! I know that if any of you have ever been interested in Sci Fi movies, you know how great the movies Alien and Aliens were, we are so close to getting a great next gen title about the greatest Sci Fi movie of all time.

So please, go to the site, fill out the petition, (you dont have to donate, it isn't related to the petition) and help save a great game.

Petition Site

With so many games being cancelled due to lack of funding and support, we can't let this one go, not without a fight!!

Here is the link to the official game site, and below it the link to the publishers site:

Aliens: Colonial Marines Official Site

Gear box Website

Thank You for your help and support!!

i actually picked the G5 over the Razer the other day, i had $75 in best buy gift cards, and the Razer was like $100, the G5 was only $50, so i thought it was a pretty good deal, and it has this neat little weight cartridge thing, i cant figure out who is that picky about how much the mouse weighs though...

[QUOTE="alexross01123"]

I have amd phenom 8500 tri-core processor

msi 9600gt graphic card

gigabyte motherboard

2gb ddr2 667 mhz ram

I was wondering if keeping the computer on for 14 hours a day would lessen the longetivity of the computer and wheter constant downloading also deteriorates the performance?

nope, unless you have everything runnning at 100%, with bad cooling, then i would say it's ok. but just downloading running overnight is fine, i can honestly say this is the first time i have seen the specs of a rig running on a triple core cpu, not bad though.

yea seriously, it is pretty much pointless to have AA at that res, i play at 1920x 1080, and i can max everything, at 40+ FPS, thats in DX10, just no AA, but i cant see the difference anyways
