I fail to see how this can be judged against the XBONE without knowing how much ram it will use for it's OS. All this fanboy battle over this is a bit pointless as a result.

And I love how PC gamers come in here to somehow act as if they are above this when console wars affect them just as much as a console owner (new consoles dictate the graphics and technological quality of gaming the most by FAR not new PCs) and they always jump in to console wars themselves!

Anyway, I'm getting a PS4 because after I weighed up all the facts (and also my personal factors such as what my friends were getting) it was unquestionably the best option. If that changes before release, so will my console of choice. I'm a consumer and my benefit comes before any loyalty to a brand.

Capcom is cutting and pasting all the characters and most of the stages from SFXT and still charging $15? The only real content here is the one new character.....who probably is mike haggar and he is basically a cut and paste from marvel vs capcom. To say it is a bigger instalment than Super or AE is a flat out lie. They should have just released the balance patch.

Oh and don't get me started on how they are shafting all the series faithful by only letting people new to the series that buy the complete disc get previous DLC.

Anyway, I'm a big SF fan so I will be getting this but reluctantly....I hate the Capcom business side but love their FG dev team.

@elitesoldier117 3,5,6 and perhaps 11 are the only good points here. The rest are either not a positive, a duplicate of an existing point or an opinion. Also you are forgetting the cost of making a PC that is significantly better than a console (note the word "significantly"). Save game hacking is available on consoles but more serious modding isn't, that is the one reason I sometimes buy PC versions of games over console version. Never graphics or keyboard support.

Console gaming still dictates the quality of graphics for games and is the main port for nearly all major game companies. PC games can get to quite high graphic fiedlity but are pulled back by limits of consoles and the limit of the consumer's wallet.

It's not wrong to be a fan of a console. It's wrong to be a whiny, belligerent and confrontational fan of a console. I'm a fan of sony consoles because they have been great to me. That will change if sony ever betrays my trust though. Naturally. So far, they have not.

Anyone else know this already? I thought it was common knowledge. Anyway, my reasoning is slightly different to the "justify my purchase" reasoning. I occasionally chip in to console wars in a rational and fact based way to correct the more delusional dregs of society that use falsification to justify their console purchase.

You often see reasons like "XBOXONE has better graphics!" "XBOX1 has better exclusives" "XBOX one has better online" but none of these are proven and in fact most are likely flat out wrong (PS4 is more powerful on paper, PS4 has 20 exclusives to announce before release and PS4 has ramped up servers and their online capabilities since the PS3 days). These are TERRIBLE reasons to choose an XBOX one over a PS4. There are valid reasons to chooce an XBOX over PS4 though. Eg. all my friends are casual and will be sticking with the xbox, there is one certain game I NEED to get that is exclusive to xbox, I can get the xbox for quite cheap from an offer etc etc. But you will rarely see anyone use reasons like that.

Anyway, right now, the console to get if you base it on things like on paper graphics, number of exclusives, track record of screwing gamers (sorry, xbox fans) and access to indie games and older game libraries is definitely the PS4. That is just the plain facts. Check out stuff magazine and edge magazine who had front page covers saying that the PS4 was clearly the better console.

As this video has mentioned, taking this info in may make you feel as if you are being insulted but instead of taking it that way think of it as MS betraying you by first even thinking you would accept the DRM and then by continuing to make it seem as though they have the better console despite the facts pointing otherwise. Many xbox fans have already done the 180 to PS4, you wouldn't be the first. Had the PS4 been in the xbox's place I would have 180'd long ago.

I think the WiiU has a separate market to the PS4 and XBOX. The XBOX will end up in third in my eyes. WiiU will have it's steady support from casuals and from people who buy 2 consoles.
