What do Fallout 3, Farcry 2, Gear of War 2 and Fable 2 have in common?

Well, aside from then coming out soon. They have been leaked onto the Internet. Well before release. So, after all the posts about PC piracy, it begs the question: what about piracy on consoles? Why do we let these incidents get swept under the mat?

gears 2 hasnt leaked yet. either way piracy is an issue on every system, or eventually becomes one.

does mininova even show how many dls happen per day?

to my knowledge i didnt think they did

those numbers seem highly inflated for a day, they seem more like all time downloads

altho im not arguing the facts that lots of ppl pirate games its just hard to believe mininova has such high numbers considering its a horrible torrent site

Just wondering is it worth going with ddr2 1066 ram (pc2 8500) over ddr2 800 (pc2 6400)

is there a noticable difference in performance?

dont know what to get, cause pc2 8500 is nearly double the price, wondering if anyone can tell me from experience if they noticed a diff.

yeah rsv looks really bad after playing COD4... but RSV is still a really good game

Yeah the MP is trash but the SP is actually surprisingly beautiful. It's why people compared it to Gears back in 06.

a little bit more than a dozen arcade games, theres prob some other games im forgetting about

either way most of these were gifts from friends or family, dont have much time to play right now with school and work

i dont know why u guys are complaining, thats the only way they can pump out a new cod every year

and i would rather have another one to play next year then wait 2 years for iw to make the next one

its not like the ones made by treyarch are horrible just not as great

having something to play is better than having nothing, and its not like anyone is forcing u to buy it

actually gaming wise it was a bad decision, the reason the ps3 was ridiculed at its launch was price point

secondly it prob would have launched earlier, if u remember at first they were talking bout launching the ps3 in march but the blu-ray drive was basically delaying it because their werent enough blu-ray diodes

now u gotta think of how this all would affect the market, with 100-200 lower price it deff would have caught up to the 360, and itf it launched in march would have caught an surpassed the 360 in no time, brand appeal would be a lot greater

4th - exclusives, with great sales off the bat u gotta think if ps3 would loose exclusives such as devil may cry 4, virtua fighter 5, gta4, and ultimately dead rising and lost planet could have been ps3 games as well. with more exclusive it could have pushed sales even more. so come to think of it we dont eeven know if ps3 would be 2nd then, it could have actually had good appeal and been #1, instead of the wii, the main reason the ps3 was selling bad from the start was bad press, and if it turned out this way it deff would be flying off shelves.

altho when u think of the format wars they made the right choice, if not for the ps3 then sony would have lost to hd-dvd a long time ago. Standalone blu-ray players were selling horrible and very pricey at the start.

In conclusion Sony pretty much sacrificed its console to win the format war.
