Without MS stepping into the console arena online gaming wouldn't be HALF what it is right now.

I've tried all the controllers that mimic the 360 controller and they're all ****. Complete garbage. I was able to fix the dead zone on one of them by replacing the analogs with those found in the 360 controller. however the controller didnt fit back together. The analogs sat higher then the one that were put on the board originally.

you can buy one if you want but be warned they ALL have dead zones that account for about 1/3 the total analog stick movement whereas on a standard dualshock the deadzone is about 1/32 the analog sticks movement. The other problem I found is none of them let me fine tune anything, like on MW2 for instance it was nothing, nothing, nothing, bam 360. Whereas on the dualshock is slowly accelerates as you move the stick farther.

Well, to be honest that's why I have a wait and see attitude toward PLUS...the list of features didn't impress me when it first went LIVE. I still think it's too early to praise or condemn...time will tell eventually

All of that is why I was interested in PSN+. I figured by subscribing initially they could get some $ and initiative to keep improving the service but at this moment they can take PSN+ and shove it in a certain area.

To top all this off any of the so-called "free" content is rendered useless once my subscription ends? I was going to post on Sonys official site but unfortunately they're down atm.

The day I spent $50 on the sub I got $54 in content and 14 more months to look forward to. Works for me. :)emitsu97

I wanted all the stuff they had in that survey. As of right now my comment on my PS3 is "**** Playstation Plus" and I will not change it until I see some new features. A few of the people on my friends list are mimicing me. Everyone that asks why that is my comment basically gets my OP sent back.

It's almost as though the universe is giving me some justice. My PS3 ylod yesterday and now today NOBODY can play their PS3 online. I get my new PS3 tomorrow so It's like I missed nothing. LMOA, suckers!

Seriously, where's all the features they promised were coming? Why am I not getting beta access? Why am I not getting exclusive game content? Clooud save storage?

Just one huge let down. It's $50 for a discount service and 99% of the stuff they put up there is OLD...REALLY OLD. If they dont do some MAJOR updating I will NOT be re-subscribing.

PS3 has been sitting about 2 hours now and still wont turn on. Doesnt even boot up. turns on then almost immediately off and flashing red light. Tried switching back to my 60 gig HDD and no luck. Guess I'm buying a new PS3 this friday...sucks because I wanted to use that money for a new tv...oh well. **** happens I guess.

It's definitely NOT clogged with dust. I opened it up a cleaned it out VERY WELL a few weeks ago. It's in an open area where it can breathe well. I don't see any flashing yellow light so it doesn't seem to be YLOD.

It did shut off pretty must just as a backround DL started for the NFS demo. Possible the HDD died? it is a new HDD, not the stock 60 gig. What makes me think this isn't the problem is I cant even boot into the debug menu, if the 60 gig model even has one.

What does this mean? I had just started a download of some store content and was sending out messages then my PS3 just shuts off and the red light flashes then goes solid. Power off then on and it turns on for about 5 seconds then shuts down and flashes. It happened about 5 minutes after boot up, fans were running. Everything seemed fine. Maybe a HDD failure?

Or am I SOL and buying a slim PS3(ew, they look nasty).
