All this talk of spaghetti, and no mention of Spaghetti Western films?

For shame.

Watching the Trump presidency is like watching the fall of the Roman Empire set to the music from Benny Hill.

Let me know when he's ready to hit WW3 button.

I'll let you know, plus if it does happen, playing all that Fallout is finally going to pay off.

Russia loves Trump.

What a fucking shock.

Meanwhile our neighbors and allies who we should value think we're a complete fucking joke.

Paying money to defend all U.S. citizens from terrorists: "A-OK."

Paying money to defend all U.S. citizens from health problems: "Why is that my responsibility?"

I'm just saying, I don't want to pay for socialized military. People can pay for their own body guards if they want security, free market. If they can't afford it, they just need to stop being lazy and get a better job. I never had military protection handed to me.

Played Oxenfree.

Interesting setting, felt like an episode of The X-Files starring the cast of Dawson's Creek. I can understand where the comparisons to Life is Strange were coming from, but Oxenfree is more like an abridged, hurried version of Life is Strange.

It's basically a "one-and-done" type of game. Even if I ever play it again, I get the feeling I'd make the same choices again, ha ha.

I'm all for games that are about the characters and decision-making being the primary game mechanic. But at least make the game longer than a few hours for crying out loud. Though since it was an indie game, I guess there was only so much the developers could work with given their budget.

I was considering getting Night in the Woods next, but I don't know. Has anyone here played it? If you have, please tell me it's a game that takes longer than one day to beat.

Nier: Automata is so fucking Japanese that it hurts.

Giant robots: check.

Robots that can be piloted by characters: check.

Cringe-inducing dialogue: check.

Characters acting casual in ridiculous clothing: check.

Emphasis on characters' asses: check.

Stars a young woman in a skimpy outfit who wields a disproportionately large sword and is tasked with saving the world because that's the only plausible way to approach and resolve an apocalyptic situation: check.

All jokes aside, it is a fun game, and I'm having a blast. Love the world you get to explore, the music, and the combat.

Is it really that surprising that video game stories are bad considering the context that most of them have? That context being that 99% of video games are all about getting from Point A to Point B, and killing anything that gets in your way.

Played Nier: Automata for the first time.

First pop-up on screen says, "This game does not support auto-save. Play the game to find out how to save."

Dies after 40 minutes of playing.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccckkkkkkkk.
