Commercial was over-dramatic trash regardless of the "message" it was trying to get across. People are really blowing this out of proportion.

@mark1974: Don't you just love American rhetoric? Bomb more people to save lives. Makes about as much sense as those commercials that proclaim you can save money by spending more.

@jg4xchamp: It's been a weird class, one that I had hopes for, but it's just been more of a weekly pop-culture discussion than an actual class, and that's why I think I'm always pissed off when I go to it because I don't feel like I'm learning anything.

Adding Undertale into the mix just made me more pissed off because like I mentioned, I don't feel that video games are on the same level as other mediums, plus it's hard to look at such a crude looking game and take it seriously.

All those games are going to be on Xbox One too.

Am I missing something here?

@FireEmblem_Man: Except that's not what it is, my professor thought it would interesting to expand the English course to video game narratives. It just so happened that almost everyone who took this class turned out to be a bunch of dorks that couldn't wait to geek out when this assignment rolled in.

My problem is that video games are still not good at telling structured narratives. Do they explore themes and ideas decently? Yes. Well-thought out and concise plots? Hell no.

It has nothing to do with "snowflakes," whatever the hell that means.
