Best thing to know about Dead Rising is you can't do everything on one playthrough especially on a low level, just do the missions you think are possible to complete.
I think it is well worth it plus with the sales going on you should be able to pick it up at a good price. For me I hated the first game I just could not get into it but it was the total opposite wit DR 2 the controls a better and the weapon system is a big improvement I think it is just a lot more fun to actually play through, I've already finished the game with the best ending and I've gone straight onto the next so I can level up.
I would say Alan Wake feels quite unique and it stands out from the crowd, Just Cause 2 also comes to mind the tropical island has a huge array of different enviroments and styles.
I would just like to point in the Christian religion 'free will' does not exist due in part to, believe and worship god = heaven, not believing in god = hell. That is like putting a gun to someones head, and if they do not do what is said they die, would you say that person has a free will in that situation nope.

I love when something bad happens they say "God does not interfere"......then "when something good happens "its a miracle" or something. Selective praising. Well of course religions want you to be a loyal worshiper by talking up the good stuff and backing it up with repercussions of not following the faith eg Hell.
Well considering that some religions can be proven to be wrong today just by looking at some of the texts etc, in the bible the world is said to be flat and going by the bible the world is 10,000 years old, also using some basic logic it is clear the Christian god clearly contradicts himself on many subjects. To be honest you could show religious die hards any evidence disproving their god and they will just change things, or they will simply refuse to accept it.
I suggest picking up a book related to the games industry and checking out some industry sites the main roles are as follows Designers Artists Programmers Though with each one there are sub divisions such as AI programmers, level designers, gameplay designers, character artists enviromental artists. You also have Producers and lead roles with directing small groups within the team.
I think the problem with GT 5 is the long dev time for it, the game seems somewhat behind the times and to keep up stuff was added onto it through the dev cycle. Also like others have said the racing genre has moved on and online functionality has improved a lot of the years. Just seems to me they were trying to do so much in so many areas things are weaker than others like the premium cars and the normal ones.
