On a personal note, NiGHTS was the game that got me back into console gaming. I lost interest in high school. I was mostly a PC girl then. When I got a used Saturn in 1999 for a friend's birthday, I decided to test it out using NiGHTS. Needless to say, it evoked an emotional response in me that I hadn't felt in quite some time. I kept the Saturn, and I've pretty much been a console girl ever since.

I love the song. One thing you can say about the Wii commercials is that the song makes them very easy to recognize. You don't even have to be in front of the TV and once the shamisen kicks in you know a Wii commercial is on.

I have EBA and I love it, but I haven't invested as much time into as I did into Ouendan as of yet. I can't wait to import Ouendan 2 when it gets released. :)

People need to understand the difference between eC and E. The only true "kiddy" games are eC, or "Early Childhood".

Nothing this generation has made me go "WOW!" The last console game to impress me with graphics was Soul Calibur and the last PC game was the original Unreal. In my mind, 1998-2001 was really one of the last golden ages of gaming.

These days I care more about how fun a game is than how it looks, but what's fun for me is not necessarily fun for others.

I'd like to know when Europe became the whole world....

Pretty much any game on the Wii has a chance. You know why? Because Halo 3 isn't coming out until Q4 of this year, while Zelda, Wii Sports, WarioWare, and Wii Play keep racking up sales. Let's not forget Super Paper Mario. If Metroid Prime 3, SSBB, and SMG all make it out the door this year, Halo 3 is going to have some very stiff competition. To put it differently, Halo 3 will have to move as many in 3 months as all the other games had in 13 months, 12 months, etc.
