@ShimmeringSword Both groups have their whiny, self-righteous, fevered egos running around somewhere or another. There's not enough people who can simply enjoy both consoles and PC's, they'd rather have a superiority complex regarding their preferred piece of hardware.

Though console fanboys are far worse.. at least PC elitists have a point in saying their hardware is better to game on, whereas the best console kids can come up with is 'BUT WE HAVE EXCLUSIVES LOL'.

As long as Feedbackula is around, as long as the opinions of trolls are glorified, we will never move in the correct direction that's needed in order to alleviate the problem.

@llsinister84ll It sounds like someone needs to practice some self-control. Valve shouldn't have to compensate because you get pissed off and throw things when you're angry.

One of two things will come from this controller:

A) It will provide incredible precision and take over the console market like a plague, with Microsoft and Sony following the coattails of Steam yet again.

B) It'll play like crap and be a massive failure.

@Dannystaples14 Fair point, but I think Valve would be smart enough, after having such an emphasize on controller support in PC games, to provide the drivers. There's no reason that they couldn't except for them simply not wanting to.

@NTM23 @MAD_AI Steam Machine is a console, your PC is a PC. It's not complicated.

@Dannystaples14 You're completely misinformed. I have a PS2 controller that works like a charm with a PS2-to-USB port.

@MrMilkmann As long as the PC game you're playing as controller support, you can still use any other controller. This is for games that require KB/M, and have no other options. It's meant to be a controller that will work regardless of compatibility.

@Dannystaples14 Are you saying that since the PS4 has superior hardware at the moment, that within half of a year it won't be inferior? I hope not, that would be an incredibly naive outlook.

@Queuingreturns Or, it's not a war, and people simply have different tastes. Most PC gamers don't really care about your 'fanboy' comments, they're enjoying their superior hardware too much to give a damn.

I'll be picking up a next-gen console at some point or another, same as you and most of the people here. But that doesn't change the fact that the hardware will be dated 6 months after release.
