Because game reviewers view the gaming market in whatever <insert tinted vision mode> glasses that they want to meet whatever stupid argument they are trying to make and this argument is not true in the sense of games being silly not being available. Maybe the argument should be that "popular" game review websites (such as this one) tend to focus more of their content on "serious" games and less on "fun" games and this is why you, Tom, have come up with the point of view you have, and not because game developers or gamers agree with you.
To buy or not to buy, that is the question... Seems gamespot didn't really help in answering it though with this "Meh" review just because of multiplayer bugs... which I guess is everything.
@constantin Please go play Hotline: Miami & FTL right NAOW! They are visually stunning, just not in the way you think you need them to be. You will enjoy them much more than Halo, ME, Skyrim or Crysis.
