If Nintendo is to purchase Sega, it needs Sammy's permission. Do not assume that a company buying another will make the latter's improve.

Not to nitpicking but the game is Dairantou Smash Brothers X, not Super Smash Bros. Brawl that sold over a million copies in Japan. Brawl has yet to be released in North America here. Why are many so Western-centric that they use the Western name of a game that is only sold in Japan as Smash Brothers X? And why is the Western-centricism in this forum?

He has no official age, so fans can speculate as much as they can.

I was also disappointed in Captain Falcon's Final Smash. Blackbond

I personally was not after using it several times. It is appropriate for Captain Falcon, but like Metaknight's Galaxia Darkness Final Smash it needs to be timed or else it will fail. If executed properly, the Blue Falcon attack will knock out an opponent.

There are Metal Gear Solid themes in the game from music to stickers.

I got some questions on the game...

1. Does it use motion?

2. Does it have a storyline to it?

3. How long do you think it takes to complete it? Like is it long because to me it looks really short..

4. why is it so popular ?, i mean it looks like a 3d fighter...

Thank, you

Since I own Dairantou Smash Brothers X since Monday and played it for more than twenty-four hours, I can answer many of your questions.

Anwswer one: it does for both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk only for the smash attacks.

Anwswer two: The Subspace Emissary does have a story. I will not spoil it here and even though I have finished it a few days ago. It is easy to follow because there is almost no dialogue, even though I am playing the game in Japanese which I can sometime understand.

Anwser three: It took me nearly nine hours to complete it, and this is in easy mode. I have yet to play the Subspace Emissary in higher difficulties.

Anwser four: Ask others for their opinions on the game's popularity.

Even though I am playing Smash Bros. X right now, I intend to purchase the English version when it goes on sale in March, because the former does not have a language option.
I guess the Japanese aren't very open minded when it comes to gaming.

_Dispair_

No, I think Japanese people just don't like American products...at least a documentary I watched concerning this subject somewhat implied that.

Westerners on this forum needs to stop the ignorant generalizations of the Japanese and their consumer habits. Most never been to Japan and are ill-informed about its culture and how the video game market works there. Claiming that the Japanese are not open-minded is hypocritical knowing that many here, mostly Westerners, do the same thing on System Wars.

Early this morning, I competed the Subspace Emissary (in easy mode) and then unlocked a character after clearing "Simple" (Classic) mode with the Ice Climbers. I was unable to unlock another character (a long-time veteran) after finishing an Event with an unlockable character because I was KO'd by an exploding item. I will try again the next time I play the game.
It is strange at the End of the Subspace Emissary that I finally saw Sonic after he clipped the wings of Taboo, the final boss. However, I did not unlock him after finishing the adventure mode, but did so earlier after clearing Simple mode with Donkey Kong. About three characters to unlock, including Purin which I failed after completing the Event with Robot.
Even though I am advancing in Smash Bros. X, I will get the English version when it is released on March.

Do you think those are all the AT.sman3579

There are more assist trophies than shown in Smash Bros. Dojo. Many have to be unlocked so they can appear in the game. Those that are commonly found (Knuckle Joe, Lakitu, Little Mac, etc.) are readily available.

I am currently about halfway into the Subspace Emissary, and in the several hours of near straight playing, there were many surprises in the adventure mode. Many characters I unlocked just because there will introduced and were playable.

At this time, I am completing Classic mode the characters I have unlocked so far. There were some surprise, such as unlocking two secret characters after completing the mode with Mario and Donkey Kong. I will return to the Subspace Emissary latter in the day.
