I recently received the Japanese version via UPS yesterday and now playing it with my Japanese Wii. It is too bad that it does not have a language option, so I will have problems knowing the conditions to unlock certain items as the text is in Japanese. It is a good thing that the Subspace Emissary adventure mode does not have dialogue, so I can understand what the characters are doing in the cut scenes by their actions. I will be getting the English version when it goes on sale in early March.

I tried the Wii Remote and the Classic Controller attached to the former, and both feel ackward, so I bought a GameCube Controller from GameStop just today. It is suitable for Smash Brothers X (Brawl).

What kind of question is this? I just wonder if people ever read the instruction manual. The same goes with Wii questions, esp. with WiFi set up.
Lets hope I unlock this one, I never unlocked the Melee one..k_smoove

This and Port Town are both starter stages. It was confirmed in First Songs in My Music.

It is the last of the starter stages revealed. After that, the secret stages will be revealed on the Dojo.

I am recently playing the Japanese version (which I received via UPS on Monday), and noticed:
that I was able to unlock Marth after completing the first stage he appeared in the Subspace Emissary. In what condition did I do so?
If anyone replies, please reply using the "spoiler" tag.

I am currently playing the Japanese version and I can say that many of the new stages are quite beautiful. Unlike the original Smash Bros., Smash Brothers X is highly-budgeted.

I have been playing the game since I received it yesterday and now about 20% within the Subspace Emissary Adventure Mode. I stopped playing after seeing a villain from the previous game appearing.

Original poster, are you trolling? By the language of your posts, I think you are.

Enough with this juvenile nonsense that Nintendo "runined" Mario.

I just received Smash Bros. X via UPS an hour ago and beginning to read the instruction manual. It seems as I fear that the game does not have a language option, so people playing it will have to understand Japanese. I will be playing the game soon as I own a Japanese Wii.

The argument that it is "disappointing" that the Wii does not have DVD playaback is just like the absurb argument by some fanboys that Super Smash Bros. Brawl must have voice chat, or unnecessary third-party character. Both are unnecessary.

There is really no need for DVD playback on the Wii when there is already cheap or superior DVD players on the market.

I wonder whether people ever read the instruction manual for the Wii before asking these inane questions. There really needs to be a FAQ for the Wii.

I can see the shocked faces of people who believed the Las Vegas bookmakers that gave the Patriots a +12-13 odds favorite over the Giants. They must have lost thousands of dollars on betting on the wrong team.

This game will go down as the biggest upset in Super Bowl history. A classic case of David (Giants) over Goliath (Patriots).
