Alright, perhaps Japan doesn't rate games based on graphics, but you must admit they base their reviews on pretty f****d up criteria if their list of top FF games goes like this:

FFXIII, FFX, FFVII, FFIV, FFV, FFIII, FFIX, FFXII, FFXI, FFVIII, FFVI, FFII, FFI

Way I see it, this list makes absolutely no sense...whatsoever.

EDIT: This isn't necessarily how the list went, though it's fairly close. FFIII being so high on the list? Did they get the games mixed up?

I'm not sure , but I'm pretty sure Famitsu has generally given FF a pretty high rating through out the years and VI was widely praised back then for it's storyline.

For III , the older version did get a higher score compared to the remake in Famitsu's score ratings.

Then again , XIII and XII and X did get generally higher scores on Famitsu I think.

Well , I haven't actually read the reviews ( Not that I can read Kanji anyways :X ) so I can't really tell the reasoning for this so I can't blindly accuse them for being biased either. But Famitsu did really give a bad score to Dirge of Cerberus so then again , graphics can't possibly mean everything to them.

And to me it seems that this game had high hype and great anticipation you know.....and i was watchin the review for the PC version yesterday, and i was trult stunned at the 4.0 they recieved.

I dont know if the PS3 version will be any better....because of the the time they still have...but I'am hoping the PS3 version does a lot better.

Have you ever heard of something called....Visual Novels? They have absolutely no gameplay ( Most of them anyways ) and are like books with pictures ( Mmm...well drawn pictures actually ) but they are immensely popular in Japan and well , to some of the overseas fans.

By the way , I will support it being on the Playstation series , though I won't mind remakes on the other consoles. For one thing , they should seriously create a decent Final Fantasy I-IX remake with all the glim and stuff.

Anyways , try playing a Visual Novel ( Try Clannad , I recommend that if...err...you don't wanna get exposed to the wrong stuff :X ) and you'd see that there aren't really much glimp and shine to it. Just plain texts and artwork...well , the artwork is good though.

Edit :

Just an add-on , but you really should try to keep your tone friendly to avoid creating a conflict within this Union. I don't know how tolerant the leader is , but keep your enthusiasm and flames of passion of your beliefs in the boundaries of which you would not offend others head on. This Union is meant for friendly association with other fans of Final Fantasy , not some battlefield for you to wage war with them.
