@Seabas989: who can blame them. The reviewer botched that review because of the main character. Joel...drug dealer...okay.

Being angry at a review, especially after all this time, is sad and pathetic.

Yeah, sounds like he's really angry about the review and not just criticizing it. Anything to feel better than other people though, right?

The DLC was pretty bad for the most part. It does tend to build a relationship in a more realistic way, but I don't care because it's boring as hell. It's like a couple of poorly made mini-games haphazardly strung together.

It wasn't an "emotional experience," it was just another pretentious, overpriced "game." That being said, there were some good moments, but all in all, it was far worse than the main campaign.

I bought the season pass, so I'll probably play this. Is it only two hours?

I should also try the new multiplayer maps they added. I had the game installed onto the PlayStation 3 so I could download it off of both of my PlayStation 3s. However, it was so big, I eventually had to delete it. I really should get some harddrive add-on for my systems, but the generation is pretty much over at this point, and I don't feel like tinkering with it. I won't have an urge to play the game again once I'm through with all the DLC anyway.

@zaraxius: Ill be sure to take note of your opinion, but the fact is.. at the time.. yes, Half Life 2 was a great game. Far better then what was available.

And if youve been here since 2008?... Why doesnt your post count reflect that? Been banned much? Or are you just a 12 year old fakeboy who's never played a HL game in his life? Lets hear it.

I made my first account here in early 2005. I actually didn't know what System Wars was until late 2007. Banned? Let's just say I lost my password on multiple occasions.

Is it really that hard to believe someone doesn't like Half Life 2 with all that's wrong with it? I'm sure you've heard it before, so I won't get into that. But at the time of The Orange Box release (which was only three years after Half Life 2's original launch), all the defenders of the game responded to any argument simply by saying "it's an old game." Funny how fast it became outdated. Meanwhile, Resident Evil 4 is still awesome even nine years after launch.

Super Smash Bros. 4 by a considerable margin. But Mario Kart 8 still shits on any PC game in existence.

I'm not particularly fond of The Last of Us (though it still was fun), but I'd most definitely pick over Half-Life 2. It's about a million times better.

Half-Life 2 on the other hand, fucking sucks. PC gamers always overrate their originally exclusive games. They thought they could keep up the lie that it was actually a good game, but then Valve, deluded by their smug fan-base, began to think their game was worthwhile and so ported it to consoles. Of course, as we all soon found out, it was complete shit.

I played the Half-Life 2 saga on my laptop at the time. System Wars kept lying to me about PC gaming being superior, so I gave it a try. I also gave F.E.A.R., BioShock, Guild Wars, Audiosurf, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Left 4 Dead, Counter Strike: Source, and Braid in 2008 before finally concluding that I wasn't missing out on anything and that I fucking hated PC gaming.

I'm playing through my first Professor Layton game right now, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. I actually bought it last summer but am finally just getting around to playing it. I like it... the puzzles at least. Everything else I don't really care for.

The story is predictable. The identity of the Masked Gentleman seems so obvious at this point. But maybe I'll be surprised. I hate the characters, especially Professor Layton. He is a smug weirdo who needs to take off his stupid hat.

Finding the puzzles in the world is pretty pointless. It's always obvious and doesn't add anything to the game. It really just wastes the player's time.

I'd like it a lot better if the game was just a collection of puzzles. Making me go through everything else sucks. Still though, it's worth it. It's an excellent game. Even so, I'm surprised no one bashes on the series for its yearly releases. They've already announced a Professor Layton 7, and there's already two spinoff games. But god forbid they make [almost any other series] once every two or three years.

The Wii U would be the perfect console to do it, what with the gamepad controller and all.

But I highly doubt this is true. Didn't they say they were just focusing on games releasing in the spring?

Can we talk about how Demon's Souls is not available on the PC?
