I can see that... But he will honestly get it way worse now that he's taken it off the app store... at least until people stop caring about it and move on. If he doesn't get at least 10 times the number of death threats he did before he took the game down, I will be surprised.

A new Pokemon game every year since 2009, if you're going off of Western release dates. Pokemon Black and White were released in 2010 in Japan, while Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 were released in 2012, albeit earlier in the year than its Western counterparts.

The developers of Pokemon were a little fast-moving with the release of the sixth generation Pokemon games, as the 3DS had already been out for a little over two and a half years at the time of their international release. That's a long time for a system seller. The release of Pokemon Black and White towards the very end of the DS's life-cycle was responsible for this.

I don't think we'll see a new mainline Pokemon game this year. Both 2015 and 2016 will have the expected releases though, I predict.

The developers of the game, Deck 13 and CI Games, have a terrible track record for their games. I'm not expecting anything from this, except maybe a slightly better performance than their past titles.

Maybe the PC gamers will enjoy this garbage.

2012 was my least favorite game of the generation, by a considerable margin.

This poll needs an option for New Super Mario Bros. U, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Nintendo Land (it wasn't that great, but you did include crap like Journey after-all).

I'd say the best game of the year was probably New Super Mario Bros. U, but I voted for The Last Story because you didn't include it in the poll, and the game could use more love anyway.

The last time you played that game, you must've been young. The average is apparently only 11 hours long and 14 hours to complete everything in the game.

Also, I love how Jeff Gerstmann wrote that terrible review where he said, "Once you know exactly what to do and skip as many cut-scenes as possible, you can complete the game in three hours or less," as if the game is bad because you can speed-run it really quick. As if you couldn't do the same for games The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Super Mario 64, etc. I am by no means a huge Metal Gear Solid fan, but that review was fucking terrible.

Buy not buying all those shitty games and only getting Dark Souls II and Yoshi's New Island.
