I feel like playing a FPS at the moment but I don't like the concept of some where it takes like 30 bullets to kill a guy -.- Can you recommend me any FPS that doesn't do this? Story isn't really an issue, I honestly just feel like shooting stuff but as mentioned above, I don't feel like fireing at one enemy for like 5 seconds in order for him to die already...

I've been thinking of getting this game but I'd like to know, does it have anything else to offer from SINGLE PLAYER point of view except the Main Storyline (which is fairly short anyway)? If so, what?

Do they have to be PC only? We are on the PC forums, but I have a few on my top ten that aren't on PC if you have other systems.

Yeah. Unfortunately, I do not have PS3 nor 360...

I feel like there's nothing coming out worth getting around this time (Single Player). Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning didn't get my attention, Darkness 2 was nice but the story was too short IMO so not all that great either. That's why I ask this, what are, in your opinion, the "must play" games from... say past 10 years (don't feel like playing too old stuff)?

A.K.A.: Recommend me games. As for what I like: Anything that can be fully enjoyed in SOLO (so certain FPSs are a no-no)

Thanks for replys so far, I need some more on the first question though, I used to play WoW but I don't anymore, also I'm looking for a Single Player game in that one.

The first question is, what game can last you for a really long time? I mean, even if you finish the main questline or w/e, there's still a lot of stuff to do. A prime example would be any of The Elder Scrolls series (Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind...) but I'm done with these already. Anything else? It doesn't necessarily have to be a RPG although it would be the most probable genre.

The other question is, do you think it's still worth getting GW1 if I want to start GW2 as soon as it's released? Guild Wars 2 do have BETA scheduled for March I believe but it doesn't necessarily mean they're gonna release it a month afterwards. Is there any reliable release time scheduled (for example Summer 2012 or w/e)?

I'm looking to get some sort of fighting game (Tekken-like thing. You know, 1vs1 (mostly) side view thingy) so I was wondering, what's the best one out now? I was thinking about getting Tekken 6 but I thought I'd rather ask first.

I'm looking for a single player game with a really good story, that would suck me in and force me to go on and on. Any ideas?

Assassins Creed was quite good but I got tired of it already and I've hardly played any of the AC: Revelations.

Also, I'd like it to have some action, I'm not really a L.A. Noire kind of guy if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is another decent PC beat-em-up that comes to mind, though I wouldn't exactly compare its combat system to that of DMC. Don't you own a console? You'd probably fall in love with Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden.

I really wanted to play Bayonetta but unfortunately, I do not own a console.
