[QUOTE="zenzen"]It's the Vista sidebar? Usually on the right side of the screen?NCarter05

Not sure what you are asking

The entire screen flickers? Only the right edge of the screen flickers?

If it's only the right edge then it's probably the Vista sidebar...

I have Vista 32-bit HP with a 256mb 8600GT and2 gigs of 667mhz RAM.

In DirectX 10 mode, Crysis constantly lags every few seconds.

In DirectX 9 mode, I get no lag at all and the game runs nice and smoothly.

You get the same in DX10? I need a Vista service pack to fix this?

the card came with the 4-6 pin adaptor so I know it can use it.

I'm not sure what my PSU is. I originally got my PC from E-Machines and have been steadily upgrading it. How can I find out what my PSU is?

There should be a large sticker somewhere on it that gives the info you need
