Buy a hat for each team you like, that way you have one for every situation:)double_decker
That will probably be the case eventually, but I don't feel like spending $130 on hats right now. I figure I will pick the best one and get it, and as it wears out or my style changes, I will get another one. I've never been a real big hat guy until recently, also, so people seeing me in a new hat every day of the week might be a little weird also.Â
I am about to get a hat, but with all of the choices I figure I better ask GS before I pick one. I currently wear a New Era Padres hat when I want to wear a hat. It is the real kind, not one of the stupid style hats which, while interesting, aren't true to the team's colors and are too flashy usually. I am a Padres fan and follow baseball on a medium level, but my heart is really with football. I play it, I watch it, and I love it. I recently found a site that has Reebok NFL hats beyond the basic one-fits, and plan on buying one. Here are the options:
Colts I am a huge Colts fan, and this one is tasteful in the way it looks (Not really flashy). My only dilemma is that the Colts were 2006 Superbowl Champions, and while that was great news for me, I don't want people to think I looked up who won last year's superbowl on wikipedia and bought their hat to look like a football fan.
Panthers I like Carolina a lot, but I would mostly be buying this hat because I am a HUGE Dwayne Jerrett fan. I have his USC Jersey and I will buy his Panthers jersey as soon as the 2007 season jerseys are out. The only thing I don't like is the hat is a little funny looking with black on Panthers blue.
Cardinals I grew up in Phoenix. I am a Leinart fan. The hat looks really good. Unfortunately, while I like them, Arizona sucks fairly consistently.
Seahawks I live in Seattle right now, and the Seahawks are probably my favorite overall team. My only complaint is that the hat itself is kind of flashy, and a little dark.
I am about evenly split between the four, and since I have to ship it since you can't find these kinds of hats in most Lids or Champs, it is a fairly big decision what with no hassle-free returns. The reason the darker hats turn me off is that I usually wear white or medium to light blue tees and collared shirts. I guess you could say blue is my "color", although a lot of it would work with the red as well in the Cardinals hat. I feel like a girl asking for fashion advice, but what would you say, GS football fans?
[QUOTE="zeppelin6591"]I would say stop trying to impress the public, the republican hardcores, political analyists, and anyone else who might judge you. The downfall of his campaign was his need to look good to everyone and have no one disagree with him. This is typical of a politician, and I think he could have been a good leader if he made decisions based on what he thought would be best, not what he thought would get the best reaction out of the most people. I am mose than greatful to have him in office instead of Gore or Kerry, but at the same time I hate him for not being himself. He went to war for approval and because his cabinet pressured him more than anything, and he could have been a great president instead of a joke if he thought independently. I liked him as a person and a politician going into 2000, and now I still like him as a person, but am dissapointed at the same time.NextGenNow
President Bush: "Hmmm a deep responsible...now could you summarize it in a crayola crayon picture?"
Hahaha. Just because I kind of support him doesn't mean I don't like Bush jokes. That is pretty good.Â
