In my day I had to beg and beg for years before my parents finally relented and, no not bought me but allowed me to buy my own Spectrum and black and white TV. This setup was then only allowed to be played in the lounge for 1 hour a night. Sorry that you're poor and your parents suck. I don't get anything free, but I can buy whatever I want as long as I got the money legally and I can legally own what I'm buying. Although my dad is a video/audiophile, so I have a Sony 60" 1080i rear-projection TV and 5.1 surround in the entertainment room of my house, and I am allowed to hook up videogames there. Why couldn't you even buy your own tv?
