[QUOTE="ericgold3k"]No, his description of the Rutgers team was accurate. They have ugly hair and look like thugs, IMO. DaEffingKing
Two thumbs WAY up for that guy!
I agree, but at the same time I think Don Imus is the last person to be commenting on someone/something's looks. I am glad to see Don Imus fired, but if Adam Corolla or Howard Stern was fired for the same reason, I would be unhappy. I just don't like Don Imus.
I wonder how many of you out there are rather disapointed with the xbox atm? I mean i like me box o tricks and looking forward to the updates and i no the machine is more than capable of keeping up with the likes of PS3 (like thats hard lol) but the game releases for it so far have been pants Lost planet - Done, Gears - Done, Ridge racer - Done, Kameo - Done. All in short amounts of time. Common i want more for me buck and i wana get stuck in.
I mean it took me over 40 hours to do zelda on the wii and i didnt want the damn thing to end. Thats the sorta game i wana see heading xboxes way, Sod teh PS3 and it wank 6 axis yes i tried it yest.. OMG wot a piece of crap its got nothing on the wii lol

Zelda, other than Super Paper Mario, is the Wii's only good game right now that is exclusive. Likewise with Resistance and Motorstorm for PS3. What more do you want Microsoft to give you? They are doing enough, why should they go the extra mile. Also, you say you haven't played GRAW, Rainbow Six Vegas, or Oblivion. Between those three, Lost Planet, Gears of War, and Crackdown, another one you missed. You have six solid games right there, five of which have online play and the sixth taking no less that fifty hours to fully complete. So what else should you be given?
As if my luck was not bad enough getting a used 360 repackaged as new from EB and having to drive 60km to exchange it, now my Oblivion game is giving me "disk is unreadable" error messages and this weekend I will haev to drive 60km again to the nearest EB to exchange it. I just can't believe this, I have a brand new system and a brand new Oblivion game and it's defective. I think I saw several thin smudge lines on the outside perimiter of the disk going around about 1/4 of the outer surface. Have no idea how they got there since I never touch the playing surface and washing didn't remove it. Must have been a defect. Oh well, at least I have Call of Duty 3 to play until the weekend.CaptainCrazy
I remember your story about EB and the 360. I wish I had an excuse to stop playing Oblivion like that.
[QUOTE="zeppelin6591"][QUOTE="REVENGEotSITH"][QUOTE="zeppelin6591"]I like R6V a lot more. I got GRAW 2 for $35 at Fry's, but if I had paid $60 I would have been dissapointed. The SP was worth $35, but I doubt I will play the online much. I was expecting presentation more similar to the single player.REVENGEotSITH
What are you talking about??? The multiplayer in GRAW and GRAW2 kill the single player - in gameplay and in visuals. Gameplay - the single player uses a generous amount of Aim Assist. Just aim anywhere near an enemy and you'll hit 'em for sure. Weak sauce. Multiplayer uses a much more precise/skill based aiming system. Visuals - yes, the single player has a lot of smoke effects, lighting, etc. but look beyond that and see that the detail in the environments is pretty flat and weak. I like the look of the multiplayer a lot more than that in the single player.
I'd take GRAW in a heartbeat over the camping, grenade tossing, lag fest that is RSV. You can basically snipe with an SMG in RSV. What the heck is up with that???
I think I would have liked GRAW 2 MP a lot more if I knew what it was going into it. I didn't mean I wanted the ease of single player, I just didn't think there would be cross-hairs on all the time. I was expecting that from-behind camera that zooms in a little and draws crosshairs when you need to aim. It seemed less gritty too, but that might just be because the match I was in wasn't that intense/tactical. I should probably give it another shot some time.
I agree that it isn't as "gritty" as the single player. The cross hairs are there all the time, but they do change depending on your movement. Standing still, they are one size (weapon dependent), if you are moving, they basically "blow up", meaning you pretty much can't hit anything. Pull the left trigger, you gain a certain level of precision over not pulling the LT. Click (where applicable) you get a lot more precision, but almost no movement. I really like how GRAW handles aiming. Give it some more practice.
I'd suggest the M-107 Sniper for some fun plucking and the FAMAS for a Rifleman weapon. The FAMAS has a X3 scope (click right thumb stick) which works well from a distance, but it also works well in a close-quarters battle.
I definitely think I will go try it again sometime later today. The last match I was in seemed a lot like a public Counter-Strike server: A tactical setting with a bunch of idiots lone wolfing/running and gunning. Maybe I will find a server that plays as a team.

"we pay £15 for the Play and Charge Kit"
This isn't necessary, and PS3 owners still have to buy a USB cable to charge their controllers.
"We pay £60 for the Wireless adaptor"
Once again, not really necessary. Sure it is overpriced, but at least Microsoft give players with their houses wired with ethernet the option of not paying extra for something they don't need.
"We pay £40 for live for 12-mouths"
Also not necessary, although you would be stupid not to. In all fairness, at least the online service is very good, although I still think that I am getting robbed every year.
"We pay £130 for the HD-DVD player"
One more time, not necessary. I think that we can conclude that if you want a machine that matches the functions of the PS3 with far superior online play and right now a much better selection of titles, the 360 costs more. However, other that 12 months of Live, I don't need any of those things listed, which means that if I paid $600 for the premium PS3 vs. $450 for the premium Xbox 360 plus Live, I would just be shelling out for stuff I would rarely, if ever, use.
